Saving the world, one frozen corpse at a time.

The little people don't need heat. They can just huddle in larger groups to stay warm.

They wont be able to afford it after much longer anyway.

Democrat politicians keep handing Republicans win after win by repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot.

When the Vietnamese came here, they were infamous for it...3 generations under one roof ...people and beds everywhere...just like in Grand Torino...

Didn’t CA just ban gas generators?
why is everyone hating on gas?

Gas generators use GASOLINE, a liquid.    Natural GAS is, well a gas.

If the building uses electric heat, it will not require retrofitting when renewable ways of generating electricity is available. Retrofitting will not be required. This is called "planning  for a sustainable future".

And Califiornia did not  ban the use of gasoiline generators, but merely the sale of new ones.  Existing units can still be used.

Electric is pretty much the only alternative option, and it's twice the cost per BTU.

That is with present technology, not technology that can be developed in the future.

The Global Climate Change is real. More CO2 in the atmosphere must be avoided.

New natural gas furnaces are up to 99% efficient.    They aren't pumping CO2 into the atmosphere at any significant level, it's essentially just water vapor that is being discharged.

well these laws/regulations are being enforced with PRESENT technology.

Perhaps in the future it will be more efficient to use electric to heat buildings/homes.

We just did this same thing about 2 decades ago.   Get rid of incandescent bulbs in favor of CFLs, which sucked and created more problems than they solved.    Within 10 years, LEDs made them obsolete and it took zero mandates for people to voluntarily switch to a superior product.

You are truly stupid.

Natural gas is an assortment of gaseous hydrocarbons.

When it burns, the carbon  cannot turn into water vapor. Water vapor is H20. There is no carbon in water vapor or any form of water.

The carbon can become Carbon dioxide or Carbon dioxide.

When they say is it 99% efficient, that means that 1% or less of the gas is released unburned into the atmosphere.

And this is why you are truly stupid.  If a gas furnace is 99% efficient it means that it takes less gas to produce the same amount of heat than a lower efficiency furnace.  Natural gas burns 30-50% cleaner than oil and coal already, and the higher efficiency brings the total output down.

When gas is burned, CO2 is produced. That is what needs to be avoided.

New buildings should be built so that electricity can be used, because  electricity can be generated without releasing C02 into the atmosphere. The technology exists to do this now. Future technology will  make it even more efficient.

You continue to revel in your stupidity.

Aggressive ignorance, deliberate stupidity.

New buildings should be built that make heating them unnecessary.
