What Would Happen if Nobody Voted?

Recommended Posts

Theoretical question.

I just wonder why people care so much.

I have no party affiliation. I think that it is all a load of crap. Do people seriously think that their vote matters? We don't know if the votes are counted properly, even. Do people seriously trust the government blindly?

We would be a lot better off without the government. If they were destroyed and rebuilt the world would be a better place.

Not so theoretical at all !

With a turn-out of say 10% of voters  . . .  which is very much possible  . . .  and which would be next to zero  . . .  the guy who gets the most votes would still be your and my POTUS !

Those who do not vote  . . .  don't count and make no difference !

In many countries the voters turn-out is just slightly higher than that  . . .  and they still get a LEGITIMATE government  . . .   whether they like is or not !

Numbers matter in as much as they are a  "majority"  . . .  quantity is inconsequential and matters not !

Good portion of the people in this country don't vote now.

They don't, because they don't believe in the system.

Many also don't prescribe to being under the rule of any government, so voting doesn't matter to them.

The US government, judiciary, and all governmental entities comprise the largest organized crime syndicate in the world ... so why vote?

If no one voted, I would vote, and vote for myself.  I would quickly deport all socialists, communists, illegal aliens and anyone who doesn't sign a loyalty oath to uphold the constitution.  Then, I'd throw a big party where people would bring their own beer, wine and snacks.  Why?  Because the concept of socialism will have been eradicated.
