We women are very tough. She is still VERY sick. But not to the level that was first thought.

Ivermectin is also used in long COVID to help address ongoing issues or preclude them.

Works in all phases of COVID including intubation.

Aspirin is something that helps preclude clotting, after she is discharged, as per the protocols I listed previously.

I’m pretty sure she is on a downward spiral . So be it.

Had my dad been alive during this time and ever contracted COVID, it would have been demise. Vaccinated or not, it would not have made any difference. Why? Hmm... 2 to 3 packs per day smoker from roughly 1964 to 2012. Heavy duty alcoholic from late 60's to about 1977. Very poor diet for most of his life. All in all, his proverbial house of cards was shaky at best and would have only needed the slightest nudge.

Her health has dramatically improved. But she is very sick. Being so far away from me and brother also presents a whole other issue.
fortunately she’s got money out her ass- so she has a private home nurse while she’s recouping.

It definitely helps to not be poor. While they were not dirt poor (like when we were growing up), they were still struggling along during his last 10 years.

Money doesn’t solve things. It just makes things easier

Glad to hear your Mom is turning a corner!

My Mom made it to 82, and nearly died three times between 65 and then. She was the toughest (and often meanest) woman that I have known.

True Grit wins every time!
