Still think your vote matters?    It doesn't.    This pretty much proves the deep state theory is correct.

Good to know our military leaders were there to protect democracy from the madman who was in office at the time.

Woodward/Costa book: Worried Trump could 'go rogue,' Milley took top-secret action to protect nuclea

Source: CNN

Washington (CNN)Two days after the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, President Donald Trump's top military adviser, Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley, single-handedly took top-secret action to limit Trump from potentially ordering a dangerous military strike or launching nuclear weapons, according to "Peril," a new book by legendary journalist Bob Woodward and veteran Washington Post reporter Robert Costa.

Woodward and Costa write that Milley, deeply shaken by the assault, 'was certain that Trump had gone into a serious mental decline in the aftermath of the election, with Trump now all but manic, screaming at officials and constructing his own alternate reality about endless election conspiracies.'
Milley worried that Trump could 'go rogue,' the authors write.
"You never know what a president's trigger point is," Milley told his senior staff, according to the book.

The military answers to the President thru the Chain of Command.

The President answers to Congress...we elect Congress.

The President is required by the Constitution to address Congress and the people from time to time and let them know what is going on....in The State of the Union Address.

The country is not entitled to know every detail of what the military does.

Things you can know...like there is NUKE Bomber(s) and hidden NUKE Sub(S) in battle position 24-7-365, both of which can strike anywhere in the world at any time.   You can't know how they got in position or where they come from.

I am not talking wings or fleets...I'm talking QRF's (Quick Reactionary Force)...the tip of the spear.

January 8.

Is Joe Biden in charge of our military?   Nope.   They do their own thing and answer to nobody.

Am I reading this right?

COUP: General Milley Secretly Pledged to Warn Chinese Communist Party if Trump Planned a Strike.

Excerpts from the new Bob Woodward book reveal a partisan coup at the heart of the U.S. government.

If this is true, Milley could be hanged.

Should be hanged actually.

It's called diplomacy. Diffusing a tense situation. It's the kind of stuff that happens when a mad man is in the White House feeling his power slipping away.

Who knows what was in trump's deranged mind during this time?

Everyone knew he was unstable.

So you are okay with the top military general going behind the sitting President's back and conferring with the enemy.

I see.

When you have a mad man in the Oval Office, and there is no International situation dictating a nuclear strike then yes, it is good to calm the nerves of a nervous nuclear power on the other side of the world.

We've ever had a situation like that before. But we never had an unstable president like trump before. You keep forgetting that little factoid.

So... you would be okay if Milley (or his replacement) does the same to Biden.

That was not a question.

You've ignored the entire trump mental instability issue, which is why the General took the actions he did.

So... as long as you think Milley's actions were noble, then it's okay.

There are a lot of people that felt the actions of a couple of hundred people on Jan 6th were noble too so... does that mean they were right too?
