the inherent fear

"Inherent"  fear of bats ?

I do not have that experience.

There are very few animals I was fearing  . . .  specially when armed.

You can't shoot a bat unless it lands on the wall and get it with a bb-gun.  It's easier to just kill them with a tennis racket once you get past the inherent fear of a flying rat.

If I get to it before the Jack Russel does, I'll save it and let it go outside.  But, if I have to shoot it out of 20+ foot rafters, sorry charlie.

Most people freak out when they have a bat in their house.    I can't tell you how many times people have called me to come and get rid of one at 12 AM while they cowered behind the loveseat.

Bats, spiders, snakes, rats, etc.  Why are  people afraid of things that weigh a fraction of their fat asses? I don't get it.
