Jesus you lie so much.

Yes he does!

In Mark 16:18 this is that lying ass Jesus talking kfools.

You can't drink poison kfools...poison or disinfectant. Education tells you poison, bleach, lysol etc will kill you unless you get immediate medical attention. In some cases even with medical attention you will die....this parable of Jesus is biologically incorrect and anti-educational.

Mark 16:18

 New International Version
they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.

New King James Version
they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

New American Standard Bible
they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

King James Bible
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

The Muslims developed advanced math. But their motive was to determine the exact spot to put the Qibla, the spot that prayers must be aimed at so that they point towards the Kaaba in Mecca.  The idea that an omnipresent Allah only acknowledges  prayers that "hit the spot' is logically absurd.

Originally, prayers were aimed at Jerusalem, where the Al Aqsa Mosque is, from where Mohammad rode his magical horse from to jump up to Heaven. But later, the Qaaba became the target of prayers.

Coffee first became the rage when religious Muslims (like the famous Turkish whirling dervishes) used it to stay awake and spend more time in prayers, which mostly consist in teliing Allah how great he is.

Muslim women wear clothing that deliberately uglifies them so they will not detract  men from holy devotions. It is indisputable that hejabs, burkas and such contribute to suppressing women.

Better math made navigation from Persian Gulf seaports easier. Coffee established a system for trade of spices and other foods and goods around the world. The British were coffee freaks, but they could not dominate the coffee business entirely, and redirected their caffeine demands to tea.

There is no chance that religion will ever be abolished because some people consider it essential to their mental stability. There will never be a way to prove  that no deity exists or that the creation of life was not in some manner due to some creator being.

Suppressing religion creates martyrs, and martyrs tend to create believers. So it is best to just leave religious people to believe whatever they wish, so long as they do not interfere with the normal lives of non-religious people.

But they do interfere. You think we would unconditionally support Israel if it weren't for Cheeeesus huffers believing that Israel is vital in getting their ass raptured up?

One of the most costly consequences of religious mythology is this discriminatory and bigoted concept of a so-called chosen people. If a loving and caring God did exist why would the entity favor one human over another.

These BS so-called Abrahamic religions and their cult followers have been killing innocent people, children and babies for years over some mythical belief that the land of Northeast Africa belongs to them.

In all this genocidal violence is lost that the aboriginal African people who were there before...have been uprooted, displaced and have had their land violently stolen by the British, Arab Palestinians and European Jews.

The biggest miracle the anonymous writers of the myth of jesus pulled off...was making fools believe a white baby, child and adult could hide in Africa among black people and not be detected.

There is a section that does this as a test of faith I am aware of. They seem to usually not get bit interestingly enough.

How scientific that is I have no idea.

There are  a very few Christians that bother with snake handling.

There are precisely NONE trying to cure insanity by conversing with demons and casting them into herds of swine.

And despite Jesus advice not to wash one's hands before eating, pretty much all Christians wisely ignore Jesus and wash their hands before dinner.

Although some Christians do dumb things, I observe that most do not, and I oppose trying to abolish religions, not because it might make sense, but because it is impossible. I certainly do not iagree with the Chinese government trying to exterminate Islam among the Uiyghurs

"The veil deliberately marks women as private and restricted property, nonpersons. The veil sets women apart from men and apart from the world; it restrains them, confines them, grooms them for docility. A mind can be cramped just as a body may be, and a Muslim veil blinkers both your vision and your destiny. It is the mark of a kind of apartheid, not the domination of a race but of a sex." ~ Ayaan Hirsi Ali

No, it is a parable of Jesus...who in this nonsensical myth is also God. A parable in most Bible's is written in red and relays the moral teachings of Jesus.

Jesus/God is telling his apostles that they can tell believers to take up serpents and drink poison and nothing will happen to them as long as they believe in Jesus/God.

People have died because of this anti-educational and biologically incorrect biblical scripture passage.

They have had to pass laws banning fool preachers from handling deadly snakes in services.
