One less fan who does not attend games or buy licensed merchandise means nothing.

Actually, their television viewership has tanked in the last couple of years.  They are losing ad and streaming revenue by the millions.

Rightfully so, IMHO.

I'm watching more and more football. Now that cons hate it a love it even more.

I'm enjoying more just knowing the hard core cons aren't watching. For every ten cons who say they're boycotting the games, nine of them are watching every game like they always have.

No i play fantasy football on ESPN though

How the fuck do you play fantasy football when you don't watch games so you don't know shit about what's going on?

But then, you don't seem to know shit about too much anyway.

It will make no difference to you, the NFL or anyone else if you boycott  NFL games.

He's right you know king.

The last game I watched the seats were filled with BLM jawns all paying $150 a ticket and up.

As long as hard working BLM jawns are filling the seats....the NFL is happy. (except for the extra security cost)

Kneeled during national anthem today

I suggest that pro football is an entertainment business, and there is no need to pledge allegiance to the flag or salute it, sing the national anthem or any such folderol.  I suppose the custom stems from the superpatriotism stressed by A.  Mitchell Palmer, Woodrow Wilson's AG and (seriously) minister of propaganda during WWI. It became a custom to force high school students to pledge allegiance to the flag and such. Originally, the pledge was written by a Christian Socialist Baptist minister and first published in a magazine called "The Youth's Companion" to celebrate Columbus Day in 1892. Later, it was used as a tool to sell flags to be hung in school classrooms. For ever flag bought, 30 copies of the Pledge were included.

God was added to the Pledge in 1952.

During WWI, German-Americans were encouraged to change their surnames.  Schneiders became Taylors , Schmidts became Smiths and Fischers became Fishers. They stopped teaching German, then the most popular foreign language in most schools. French was the most common replacement.

When it is people kneel?  They kneel in PRAYER, of course. They kneel in prayer so that God will cause cops to stop beating up and killing Black citizens. It s a peaceful and economical way of stating that George Floyd's death not be repeated.

What about the white dudes killed by cops in Texas and Maryland?

Gotta laugh at this one; when NFL player Tim Tebow knelt in openly stated thanks to his God, the leftists lost their shit and told him to shut up and play.  Hypocrisy, thy name is Democrat.

There has been analysis done and the primary culprit behind lower ratings is lower ratings for all TV products on major networks. Amazon, netflix, hulu, etc. are changing the game.

Up to a point; but even those factors don't completely explain the catastrophic plummeting of viewership the NFL is experiencing.
