M&P SHIELD® EZ® PISTOL IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL NOTICE

Recommended Posts

I dont like S&W pistols, but in case you do ...

https://www.mpshieldezrecall.com/

  1. With a loaded magazine in the firearm and the grip safety depressed, releasing the slide (by pulling it back, or releasing the slide stop), may ignite the round as the slide closes, without engaging the trigger.  The condition may occur, regardless of the manual thumb safety position if equipped.  This may also result in multiple discharges.

  2. With a loaded magazine in the firearm, the grip safety depressed, manual safety in the fire position, slide closed, and a round in the chamber, pulling the trigger will cause the round to fire normally, however as the slide cycles, the next round may be ignited as it is chambered by the hammer failing to fully engage the sear, causing multiple discharges.

Yikes!

And this from a pistol designed and targeted for new/weak shooters.

Was pimpin' this one.

Yeah, I have a S&W revolver, but their pistols never did excite me.

I am more of a Glock, Sig, HK, Beretta guy.

Disagree.

Their M&P 2.0 line is outstanding.

This one, however, had to cut some corners to get the slide-rack and mag spring wt. down.

Hence the grip safety.

Somethin' to do with the mod.

So you actually have pictures of nerd guns.

What a loser.

Why not real guns?

 Don't own one?

Oh wait.

You think I don't own guns because I voted for Joe.

The whole liberal cant own a gun thingy right?

You're wrong as usual.

In fact I've more than likely fired more guns and more rounds than you ever thought possible.

 Probably own more too.

I go to my son in laws every month to shoot with him and his trooper buddies.

 Pistols,ARs and shotguns.

I wear my G17 every day.

Why would think the way you do?

Not everything you are told about Democrats is close to true.

To each their own I guess.

I owned a original M&P and didn't keep it long.

Friend has the 2.0 and he likes it.

I tend to get a bad experience and write off the brand.

I wont own a Remington rifle, or a Mossberg shotgun either.

Not at all.

How can anyone be mad at someone who plays with nerf toys?

Just figured that was your style, based on your faggot ass posts.

Here, I will give credit where credit is due.

I am sure you hunt with this one ...

For a defensive carry pistol... been w/ GLOCK for a loooog time.

But would not hesitate to pick up a M&P 2.0.

I used to carry the Sig P938 because it was so easy to conceal, but changed to the G19 for capacity.

Sometimes I do use my S&W 642 as a pocket gun, if I dont want to have a holster on.

Think the GLOCK G36 slimline .45 ACP is the top of the mark for a IWB/CC pistol.

The Sig P938 9mm makes for a good micro - for trunks and tuxedos.

G23.4 .40 is the "go to war" piece.

Now, for the TRUTH!

Conservatives and libertarians have the guns.

Liberals do not.

Conservatives and libertarians have the ammo.

Liberals do not.

Conservatives and libertarians know how to use the guns and ammo.

Liberals do not.

This will not end well for liberals.

What's so funny is that ApeCUCK said he has "shot more guns" than anyone!!

Well, SHOOTING ONE is IRRELEVANT to the FACT THAT YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO HIT SOMETHING!!!

Personally, I haven't seen a SHITSTAIN YET, that could actually HIT ANYTHING with a fired gun. MAYBE the broad side of a barn, but NOTHING that would be called "Marksmanship" by the FARTHEST stretch of the imagination.

Bring on the WAR, SHITSTAINS!! We are itching to get on with it and eliminate you fucking maggots!!!

That's why you don't fuck around with second rate pistol manufacturers.

Buy a Glock.

There has been such a massive spike in gun sales that many manufacturers are seriously understaffed. Smith and Wesson actually makes very good guns. But with the recent pressure for a small number of people to get a lot of product out I am not surprised that there are errors.

Thanks for posting this.

I bought one in the summer.  I love it.  Both my wife and I have arthritis and while I can rack the slide on hand guns she can’t.  With the 380 EZ she can with no problem.  I went to the link and only firearms manufactured fro March to October are affected.  Plus it is a small amount.  Mine was manufactured in April BUT I plugged in the serial number and it is not affected.

Again, thanks for posting this.

  • Thumb up 1
