Nearly three-quarters of California counties must now operate under the state’s most stringent pandemic restrictions, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced on Monday, and health officials are considering a statewide curfew as coronavirus cases surge more dramatically than they did during a summer spike.

   
Indoor dining, gyms and movie theaters, among other businesses, must either remain closed or shut down in 41 of the state's 58 counties. The governor said he is “sounding the alarm” due to “the fastest increase California has seen" since the pandemic began.

Coronavirus cases have doubled in the last 10 days across the state, which hit the grim milestone of 1 million coronavirus cases last week. 

Newsom said he is considering invoking a statewide curfew, but will review scientific studies of impact from other countries, states and cities to understand effectiveness prior to making a final decision.

Just for the record there weren’t 1 million Covid-19 cases in California last week.   There were are a FRACTION of that number … since the vast majority of cases have recovered.   Funny how these leftist websites and states never report recovered cases or active cases.     Of course that would detract from the hysteria they are trying to induce in the public.   And to illustrate how STUPID this California communist dictator is being, consider Santa Barbara Country with 450,000 people … who are now shut down again because of this panic attack by the weenie left.  How many Covid cases do you think they currently have in the hospitals?   Take a guess?   SEVENTEEN.    FOUR in the ICU.   Out of 450,000 people.    And is this number (17) any worse than it was in mid-October?  NO.  In fact, in mid-October there are MORE people in the Santa Barbara County hospitals and ICUs than now.  In fact there were more than double the number in September … when no panic was declared by Newsom.  And in August there were 3 times the number.

And this is especially ironic since Newsom just got done hosting a BIG, EXPENSIVE birthday party for a lobbyist and more than a dozen *friends* at the French Laundry in Napa County.   But that's going to be one of the perks for being members and friends of the New American Communist Party that Biden/Harris will lead.  You get to ignore the rules.

 To add to the number of cases, every time an individual is retested, another case is reported. many people get tested 4 or 5 times. Bullshit system.

Gosh … according to the NYTimes … your source, 5x5 …  the number of new cases per day in the US has gone up 400% (from about 40000 to 160000) since mid-September.   That’s sound scary.  But curiously, the number of new deaths per day has only increased from about 800 to 1200.  That’s only a 50% increase.   How can that be, 5x5?    And how many of the new deaths are really due to Covid-19 anyway?   Afterall, the CDC just admitted that 60,000 of the current 250,000 deaths ascribed to Covid-19 were due to heart attacks.   And we know that many of the other Covid-19 deaths were people who were already on their death bed from other causes and were labeled Covid-19 deaths only because the dying person happened to get Covid near the end.   In short, I’m not going to get hysterical, like you, about the latest *surge* in Covid-19 cases.  In my opinion, the latest lockdown is just another power grab and scam by the left.   

Perhaps what you should be more concerned about is Measles.   Prior to 1963, when a vaccine was first introduced, measles killed 2.6 million people (mostly kids) worldwide every year.   But the vaccines dropped that number to about 70,000 in 2014    But the number of measles deaths worldwide began increasing again, even before Covid-19 came along.   In 2019, over 207,000 died of it, again, mostly children.    And now the experts are really worried, because, as a result of measures being taken to fight Covid-19, children are not getting the two doses of vaccine when they are supposed to … and the vaccine is most effective when it’s done at a certain age.    

According to the NYTimes ( https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/12/health/measles-deaths-soared-worldwide-last-year-as-vaccine-rates-stalled.html ) “measles outbreaks have already occurred this year in at least half of the 26 countries that had to suspend vaccination campaigns because of the pandemic. As of this month, 94 million people (BAC --- CHILDREN) are at risk for missing measles vaccines, according to the W.H.O.”  And as the NYTimes article notes …  “‘What’s scary now is that our essential public health workers have been refocused from diagnosing, testing and reporting suspected measles cases to Covid-19."   That's a quote from Robb Linkins, an epidemiologist at the CDC who is chair of the Measles and Rubella Initiative’s management team.”

Also keep in mind, measles is one of the most contagious viruses there is, 5x5.   Measles is so contagious that if one person has it, up to 90% of the people close to that person who are not immune will become infected.    How many hundreds of thousands or even millions are going to now die of measles because you folks were overly hysterical about Covid-19?  Hmmmmmmm?
