theLion
I mostly agree, but he won’t pardon himself: too risky. more likely he’ll cut a deal with Pence to pardon him, then resign.

Scout
pardonpalooza Yep. There are 74 days of pardoning left. I bet he sells pardons. Openly. On the First day of lame duck my true love gave to me -- Paul Manafort's lawyer's number.

BatteryPowered
A liberal family member posted on my Facebook feed they thought that Biden, as soon as he arrives at the WH on 1/20, should sign a complete pardon for Trump like Ford did for Nixon...and say it’s time to turn the page and move forward, we don’t need to see a former President at a defense table. While I understand his sentiment, and think Biden would win HUGE with republicans in Congress...ain’t no way in hell that happens (and many told him so). Or he could pull a Dubya. He had a law drafted that exonerated himself from war crimes.

NYSD stands for United States District Court, Southern District of New York. It is a federal court and they would be stopped in their tracks by a pardon. You have to be the dumbest liberal on the planet.
theLion
The beauty of tRump pardoning everybody in sight, removing their jeopardy, is that they all then can be compelled to testify. And if they refuse to testify, or commit perjury, they can be busted for that.
