Boy, are they playing right into Trump's hands.  This couldn't have been better news.  I almost thought America was going to forget all about the impeachment debacle, and then there's Nancy and Friends right there to help us out, Thanks Nancy.........MAGA!

Democrats, the Party of Tantrums. Sad, but still funny.

McConnell's action was definitely far greater abuse of the Constituiton,

so you have not basis to complain about impeachment.

Wrong again, dumdum. Look up "advise and CONSENT" and see if your tiny brain is capable of comprehending the second word.

Dumdums don't understand that "consent" means the Senate determines whether nominating and confirming is appropriate depending on the circumstances, and is a check on power of the executive branch. Of course, dumdums aren't very smart and don't care about the Constitution, only attaining power.

Pelosi Weighs in on Trump Supreme Court Nominee: 'We Have Arrows in Our Quiver'

They did it before for no reason, they can do it again.

Pelosi says Democrats 'have our options' when asked about Trump if he replaces Ginsburg

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Sunday did not rule out the possibility of impeaching President Donald Trump if he tries to push through a Supreme Court nominee to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg in a lame-duck session.

The California Democrat said Ginsburg's death made it more critical than ever that Americans vote in the 2020 general election. ABC News "This Week" host George Stephanopoulos pointed out that even if Democratic nominee Joe Biden emerges victorious and the Democrats retake control of the Senate, Trump and Senate Republicans might still try to get a nominee confirmed.

"Well, we have our options. We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now," Pelosi said. "but impeachment is one of them."

Lol...   this will be lost on @maineman

I don't think there is any need to impeach the clown.  He'll be defeated in 43 days anyway.  You KNOW that the country will not stand for a lame duck president on his way out the door monkeying with the Supreme Court.  If he does, we'll just pack the court with four young buck uber liberal justices and that will be the end of that.

Monkeying with the court

According to Biden and Ginsburg the president needs to do his job..

(Of course that was in 2016 Maineman)

The Constitution gives McConnell the power to determine EITHER to not confirm, or to confirm, depending on current circumstances, his judicious discernment, and the will of those who elected him.

As someone famously said, "elections have consequences."

LMFAO

   WRONG OLE' FISH-LIPS!

The Constitution obligates Trump to nominate someone for the USSC when there is a vacancy.

  There is NO abuse there.

Cunt-face making-up false charges against Trump just to impeach him, IS ABUSE of the Constitution.

Then again, when has a liberal/communist EVER told the truth???

Of course maineman doesn't want Trump and the Senate to do their Constitutionally mandated jobs, THAT would be against their agenda of making America a socialist/communists country of third-world proportions.

Being as McConnnell prevented Garland  based on an unspoken "tradition",  then same tradition should apply here as well. What you rightwing morons do not realize is that Heritage Foundation-selected appointees will favor corporations  and employers over citizens, discrimination against YOU over corporate entities. This is shooting your stupid selves in the foot!

Everything Trump has done has favored the wealthy over the average citizen. His appointments will be no different.

The Oligarchy that supports Trump uses the abortion issue to gain the support of simpletons.

all we need is for two of the following senators to hear hoofbeats:  Gardner, Grassley, Alexander, or Romney - and the nomination is DIW.

butthurt? not really. angry?  you bet.  Vengeful and ready to exact a whole bunch of payback?  guaranteed.

I really can't believe anyone even takes the dem leadership seriously any more ...

So this Impeachment will be based upon very strong evidence that the President followed the Constitution???

If I was a dem, I am not sure I would admit that I voted dem ... with all of the stupid things they have done over the last 4 years.

That wasn't based on tradition, you dumdum, that was based on what was right for the country at the time. Just like confirming Trump's nominee is right for this time.

You really have no idea what the Constitution means and how the country works, do you?

See? No ability whatsoever to comprehend the point and make a cogent counterpoint. Just personal insults. You must be so proud of yourself.

Since XO is too ignorant to follow up on this line of reasoning.... McConnell has a duty to act according to the will of those who elected him. Those voters believe what he did in '16 was correct, and that to do what he's going to do now is also correct. The Constitution gives him the express prerogative to act as he has, does, and will.

As someone famously said, "elections have consequences." LMAO
