Most successful African country

Recommended Posts

Cabo Verde seems to be doing pretty well.

Of course, the most democratic and progressive places on the African continent are the Spanish Enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla.

They are not colonies, were founded and built by Spaniards and have been Spanish since the 1200's.

Also, The Canary Islands are certainly more African geographically than European.

outside of South Africa up until the last few years.

Ethiopia?     Egypt?

Ethiopia and Egypt are both hellholes.

The two most successful nations in Africa - BY FAR - were Southern Rhodesia and the Union of South Africa.

As late as the early 1970s Salisbury, the capital of Southern Rhodesia, had MORE PRIVATE SWIMMING POOLS PER CAPITA than any city on earth, with the exception of BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA.

Southern Rhodesia was the BREADBASKET OF AFRICA, exporting agricultural products and mineral resources far and wide.

Virtually everyone was happy living in what was very nearly a paradise on earth.

That was, of course, WHEN THE WHITE MAN RULED.

What happened?

From the moment the negroes got control . . . disaster ensued.

In the space of a few short years the economy had utterly collapsed.

Now, instead of being the BREADBASKET OF AFRICA, massive amounts of food have to be imported FREE OF CHARGE BY RELIEF AGENCIES to prevent FAMINE.

If the food relief was to stop, it is estimated that more than one-third of the population of that hellhole nation would starve to death within six months.

South Africa is the latter-day version of Southern Rhodesia; on a glide-path to utter collapse as a nation.

But, this could not happen in the USA, could it?

Well . . . have you ever heard of Baltimore?

Have you ever heard of St. Louis?

Have you ever heard of Compton?

Have you ever heard of Detroit?

Right.

Cape Verde.

A successful nation.

Per capita income:  $3,600.

U S. per capita income:  $65,000.

If THAT'S the best one can come up with . . .

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

In a country where people grow their own food and catch their own fish, then income is not comparable.

Wikipedia lists the per capita income as $7,728. for 2019.  Income is not the best index of quality of life.

It is not an unsuccessful nation.

So, subsistence farming and subsistence fishing are the hallmarks of a successful nation.

Probably the free labor:

Botswana is a source, transit, and, to a lesser extent, destination country for men, women, and children trafficked for the purpose of forced labor and sexual exploitation. Children are trafficked internally for domestic servitude and cattle herding, while women report being forced into

That was essentially what this country was when it was founded. Feeding oneself is vastly superior to starvation.

So, Cape Verde has, in the year 2020, attained the level that the United States had attained in 1776.

By Mirabeau's calculation, that's only 244 years behind the USA.

Not bad for negroes.

(YOU CANNOT - UNDER THE WILDEST OF CIRCUMSTANCES - MAKE THIS STUFF UP, FOLKS!)

Your source says this about the United States (for sake of comparison):

The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency estimates that 50,000 people are trafficked into or transited through the U.S.A. annually as sex slaves, domestics, garment, and agricultural slaves.

The United States is a destination country for thousands of men, women, and children trafficked largely from Mexico and East Asia, as well as countries in South Asia, Central America, Africa, and Europe, for the purposes of sexual and labor exploitation. Three-quarters of all foreign adult victims identified during the Fiscal Year (FY) 2008 were victims of trafficking for forced labor. Some trafficking victims, responding to fraudulent offers of employment in the United States, migrate willingly—legally and illegally—and are subsequently subjected to conditions of involuntary servitude or debt bondage at work sites or in commercial sex. An unknown number of American citizens and legal residents are trafficked within the country, primarily for sexual servitude.

Jimbo likes to tell us that he is not a racist, then he looks up bad things about Africans and Black people and posts them.

I would imagine that sex traffic through Botswana is very small compared to sex traffic to the US,

If so, serious steps must be taken to put an end to it; and with a vengeance. Cause we don't want it to end up like Africa, where it's been going on for 1,000s of years.

I would imagine the sex traffic through your bedroom is as scarce as a brain cell in slideman's head.

That is false, because sex trafficking between nations depends on modern transportation, some sort of agreed upon common currency and  adequate communication between distant countries. It is a feature of modern consumer culture.

All that's necessary are the right penalties. And I'm not a racist or a bigot; cause if I were, a black surgeon would not have done my wife's spinal revision, and a Muslim would not have done her heart surgery, and a Hindu would not have done her abdominal surgery.
