I Feel Bad For Some Of You Who Do Not Have Guns and Ammunition...

If money isn't too much of an object a number of similar backup weapons is the ultimate goal.

You mean, like the Las Vegas shooter.? Yeah, one never knows when a concert might come  to town and you just HATE that kind of music. The Las Vegas shooter apparently just got tired and  even there were LOTS more people to shoot, he went and shot himself.

From my standpoint, not a bad decision. But from his, Hell he could have counted on the cops to shoot him as soon as they figured out where he was.

I have a S&W Victory .22 and a Ruger 10/22 that I use to keep a proficient trigger finger.

.22lr is cheap and easy to store a lot of. At one time I had around 20,000 rounds of the stuff. Lol

.22 caliber hypervelocity LR is a very very nasty round. Cheap - accurate - easy to suppress. My old converted Springfield Model 15, single shot, is as quiet as an air rifle. Just the cat's ass.

Here's a good question.   Why did the Las Vegas shooter use unreliable bump stocks instead of simply converting all of those guns to full auto; since leftists always claim these guns are so easy to convert?

They used to sell for $120 at gun shows - they brought them in by the crates; Norinco SKS's.

I remember when those came around... the Mosin Nagants were the same way about 15 years ago. Picked up a couple of the Mosins for $99 a piece.

I have a couple of Russian (Tula stamped) SKSs circa 1954 that are fine shooters. One is all original, and the other has been "sporterized".

I love a .22

I have a Henry lever action that I can shoot subsonics thru and it's quieter than my old Benjamin air rifle... especially in the rain. It sounds like your spittin' a watermelon seed.

Mosin - much serious sniper rifle in it's day.

Do you remember the surplus Swiss K31 Schmidt Rubins?  Those actually caught my eye, but because I thought they were so cheap (price - about $200), I passed some really nice ones over.  STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!

Unfortunately, the Las Vegas shooter is not here to explain. My guess is that he wanted to see it in action.

I don't think we can assume that he was a rational person thinking rationally. I doubt that his opinion of what "leftists always say" was a factor.

Speaking as  leftist I NEVER said anything about bumpstocks or using full auto.I don't know of any leftist that ever did. This was a topic for gun nuts. I have attended one gun and knife show, ever, I was looking for a Swiss Army knife there was one, and it was waaaay overpriced. But while I was there, I DID overhear some guy with a neck tattoo tell a prospective customer how easy it was to ...convert something to... something more deadly. He did not make a sale.

Thank god he didn't shoot up a rap concert, we'd never hear the end of the naggers' whining.

I've seen a few K31s going for 7-800 dollars recently that were rough. I feel that was about the SKSs when they were every where.

I knew a dealer in E. TN that had several crates of them and was letting them go for around 100 a piece, but I passed like an idiot. I wish I would have bought a whole crate of them now.

What is wrong with people lamenting the violent death of dozens of people?

I have never needed a gun, and if I did own one, I am sure it would not be handy for me to use it right away.

They don't say much of anything.

Any of you conservatives out there who DO NOT already own at least one handgun and an AR-15, WAKE UP, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!  I'm sorry that you will need to pay $150 - $300 more for procrastination, but that's a pittance.

Any of you Liberals out there who DO NOT already own at least one handgun and an AR-15, have fun living in fear for the rest of your pathetic lives.  You have surrendered your freedom to BLM and thugs who look at your lily white butt and think you are REPUBLICAN TRUMP SUPPORTERS, just like I am.  How does it feel, defenseless Liberal Whitey?

I feel sorry for people raised in homes where people masturbate while stroking their guns.

Enjoy your suicide!

I carry a five shot revolver almost everywhere I go (not the courthouse or airport of course) and have for years... literally since I was probably 18 or so.

It's just like my wallet or keys.

Skans:  Or, semi-autos really are not that easy to convert to full-auto.

I don't think we can assume that he was a rational person thinking rationally.

Ya think?  Perhaps we agree on something there.

I doubt that his opinion of what "leftists always say" was a factor.

I think he was a left leaning kook.

Speaking as  leftist I NEVER said anything about bumpstocks or using full auto.I don't know of any leftist that ever did.

The whole point of discussing the LV killer would be to discuss bump-stocks; that was a unique feature of his.  I've been following bump-stocks since the AA device, and knew that if someone actually made one that worked, it would be banned.  I was surprised that lasted as long as they did.

This was a topic for gun nuts. I have attended one gun and knife show, ever, I was looking for a Swiss Army knife there was one, and it was waaaay overpriced.

Dude, you have the wrong approach.  The best way to go to a gun show is have a number of "things" in mind that you may want, be knowledgeable about prices and have fun.  I've done what you did and had one gun in mind, scouring the isles for that one gun or knife I just had to have, and ending up pissed off because I couldn't find it or the asking price was too high.

But while I was there, I DID overhear some guy wity a neck tattoo tell a prospective customer how easy it was to ...convert something to... something more deadly. He did not make a sale.

Well, that's what we call an idiot.   There's a 99% chance the guy was just full  of crap.  Only open-bolt guns are "easy" to convert to full-auto, albeit not that easy, and if you did that you would completely destroy the value of a very collectible gun, because ATF didn't allow any more after '82.   Most other guns, including the AR-15, would require a good bit of machining, or the accumulation of certain parts not easily found, to make reliably full-auto.  The truth is there are very few illegal conversions out there.

Suicide is never an option where I come from.  Also, can you describe to me how one would masturbate while stroking a firearm?  Did you watch someone perform this feat on some porn website?

Pilots have no need for parachutes unless they are in a plane.

I have no observations about pilots, as the only pilots I see are never wearing a parachute and never needed to during our flight together.

I expect that there are parachutes aboard, but it would scare the passengers to see a pilot wearing one,

No holds barred chat

  • Hey kfools.. does this help?

  • By Vegas

    Liberals are going to hell.

  • grgle

  • Where’s at @slideman?

  • Hola

  • I know this one, this new chat thing. I've seen it called the "shoutbox" among other things in my past. Very hard to hide from the chat box. The question is asked, there's no time to go search what other folks think, this is real time. Only seconds should be between chat box replies. This one is made for me. In the chat box one has to be quick on their feet with stuff at the ready. This chat box is the worst nightmare of anyone trying to deal with ol' teach.

  • By pmurT

hey @teacher that sounds like too much work for me LOL I need that useless thing called *time* in order to authenticate facts and truths which get posted by deceitful Dems

  • What does the red number refer to? currently, on my screen it says 2

  • Where does it say 2?

  • So. In the chat....if you tag a member the text afterwards should be a private message.

  • How do? I'm teacher. If I'm online and the powers that be can figure out how to make it immediately apparent to me that whatever I've said here has been replied to I'm gonna show up right quick and kick some teeth in. It's the chat box, all this is new and scary. I know this gig. This starts now.

  • Hey kfools, did you lose your securtiy cert? On my browser it is saying your site is not secure?

  • Mine too. I'm looking into it.

  • Mine too.

  • I thought it was my location..

  • Just gave to renew the security cert. No big deal I'll do it tonight

  • OK thanks

  • Happy Anniversary, America... on your Civil Union.

Scroll the other way for a while and you'll see me saying that these days the chat box ain't gonna work as one has to be quick on one's feet. The question is posed, there ain't no stinkin time for ya'll to refer to your betters for the answer, ya'll don't understand these things, this political debate, ya'll don't have the answer at hand, ya'll haven't thought this through, ya'll ain't ready for the next question I'll ask,  ya'll can't handle the pace that a bloke such as I can bring it in the chat box, ya'll can't handle this format.

This one is made for me.
