I Feel Bad For Some Of You Who Do Not Have Guns and Ammunition...

If I do buy an AR. Which would you recommend?

I would agree with the Palmetto purchase.

My son recently purchased a basic AK from them and it's a pretty solid rifle.

I think it was less than $600, less the transfer fee and background check to a local FFL.

7.62x39 is readily available and cheap too.

Ruger's are Lifetime warranty.

Maybe a two week turn-a-round.

That's good to know since I already have one Ruger.  Thanks.

I'm not too worried.  I don't plan to run a shitload of ammo through it.  If I have a problem I'll take it to the gunsmith.  I'm tired of stocking up on parts I may never use.  That's money I could have spent on magazines or another gun.

There are only two extra parts you need to get for your AR if it has decent parts in it:   An extra firing pin and an extra charging handle.

What will they do when the factory is closed down due to Covid 19? As for myself this is not a problem.

If money isn't too much of an object a number of similar backup weapons is the ultimate goal.

What if you own more than 12 battle rifles.

If you do, then I'm sure you already have a number of handguns.....and ammo.   So, you can invest in a good set of clippers like the rest of us. :D

Sent'em an old 183 series Mini-14 that shot like a 12/ga.

They sent me back a brand new 580 series that shoots ~ 2MOA w/ aperture sights.

Got a Super Single Six that had "gravel" in the action.

They replaced some parts and did a trigger job on it, including buffing the hammer edges.

Ruger - is a solid outfit.

...And another source for an inexpensive AR as well.

Democrat National Socialists and Ass-douche Liberalism:

On October 26, 1974, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Horton and two accomplices robbed Joseph Fournier, a 17-year-old gas station attendant, and then fatally stabbed Fournier 19 times after he had cooperated by handing over all of the money in the cash register. His body was stuffed in a trash can so his feet were jammed up against his chin. Fournier died from blood loss.[7] Horton was convicted of murder, sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, and incarcerated at the Northeastern Correctional Center in Massachusetts.[8]

On June 6, 1986, he was released as part of a weekend furlough program but did not return. On April 3, 1987, in Oxon Hill, Maryland, Horton twice raped a woman after pistol-whipping, knifing, binding, and gagging her fiancé. He then stole the car belonging to the man he had assaulted. He was later shot by Corporal Paul J. Lopez of the Prince George's County Police Department and captured by Corporal Yusuf A. Muhammad, also of the Prince George's County Police Department, after a pursuit. On October 20, Horton was sentenced in Maryland to two consecutive life terms plus 85 years. The sentencing judge, Vincent J. Femia, refused to return Horton to Massachusetts, saying, "I'm not prepared to take the chance that Mr. Horton might again be furloughed or otherwise released. This man should never draw a breath of free air again."[9]

On April 18, 1996, Horton was transferred to the Jessup Correctional Institution (then called the Maryland House of Correction Annex), a maximum security prison in Jessup, Maryland, where he remains.[10]

The language of the amendment is clear. There is no individual right. There is the right to maintain a militia.

This is only the opinion  of an ignorant minority and certainly not the opinion of the Supreme Court which has unambiguously recognized the 2nd Amendment as an individual right.

District of Columbia v. Heller:

Held: 1. The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home. Pp. 2–53. (a) The Amendment’s prefatory clause announces a purpose, but does not limit or expand the scope of the second part, the operative clause. The operative clause’s text and history demonstrate that it connotes an individual right to keep and bear arms. Pp. 2–22. (b) The prefatory clause comports with the Court’s interpretation

I'm sorry that you will need to pay $150 - $300 more for procrastination, but that's a pittance.

When I worked at the Gun Shop I could get SKSs for $99.

I never bothered...since I had a Tokarev SVT-40...which I sold when I needed bill $$$.

Once the shooting starts, there will be plenty of them laying on the ground.

All you really need is one to get started.

I used to think that and still do in some ways.  Then I realized I needed a shitload of practice to get my gun hand back.  Rusty and unarmed is no way to enter the second civil war.

I have a S&W Victory .22 and a Ruger 10/22 that I use to keep a proficient trigger finger.

.22lr is cheap and easy to store a lot of. At one time I had around 20,000 rounds of the stuff. Lol

Three weeks ago I had to go to 4 different stores to find 12 Ga buckshot, slugs, and 45 LC and 410 rounds.  This week I will have to get more.  Hopefully the stock is up.

That's why they call it a rifle rack.

Sounds like you're feeding a Judge!

The only .410 I have is an old bolt action Mossberg/New Haven squirrel gun.

They used to sell for $120 at gun shows - they brought them in by the crates; Norinco SKS's.

No holds barred chat

  • Hey kfools.. does this help?

  • By Vegas

    Liberals are going to hell.

  • grgle

  • Where’s at @slideman?

  • Hola

  • I know this one, this new chat thing. I've seen it called the "shoutbox" among other things in my past. Very hard to hide from the chat box. The question is asked, there's no time to go search what other folks think, this is real time. Only seconds should be between chat box replies. This one is made for me. In the chat box one has to be quick on their feet with stuff at the ready. This chat box is the worst nightmare of anyone trying to deal with ol' teach.

  • By pmurT

hey @teacher that sounds like too much work for me LOL I need that useless thing called *time* in order to authenticate facts and truths which get posted by deceitful Dems

  • What does the red number refer to? currently, on my screen it says 2

  • Where does it say 2?

  • So. In the chat....if you tag a member the text afterwards should be a private message.

  • How do? I'm teacher. If I'm online and the powers that be can figure out how to make it immediately apparent to me that whatever I've said here has been replied to I'm gonna show up right quick and kick some teeth in. It's the chat box, all this is new and scary. I know this gig. This starts now.

  • Hey kfools, did you lose your securtiy cert? On my browser it is saying your site is not secure?

  • Mine too. I'm looking into it.

  • Mine too.

  • I thought it was my location..

  • Just gave to renew the security cert. No big deal I'll do it tonight

  • OK thanks

  • Happy Anniversary, America... on your Civil Union.

  • All lives matter.

Scroll the other way for a while and you'll see me saying that these days the chat box ain't gonna work as one has to be quick on one's feet. The question is posed, there ain't no stinkin time for ya'll to refer to your betters for the answer, ya'll don't understand these things, this political debate, ya'll don't have the answer at hand, ya'll haven't thought this through, ya'll ain't ready for the next question I'll ask,  ya'll can't handle the pace that a bloke such as I can bring it in the chat box, ya'll can't handle this format.

This one is made for me.
