I don’t know how we can anymore blame Trump for Covid deaths in NewYork than we can rioting in Portland or shootings in Chicago.

It's unbelievable the amount of fear mongering they're attempting to do to further sabotage the economy.

The general consensus is that Trump's leadership has proven ineffectual.  His disregard for the anti-pandemic efforts of Bush and Obama is evident.

“It is purely a fortuity that this isn’t one of the great mass casualty events in American history,” Ron Klain, who was Biden’s chief of staff at the time, said of H1N1 in 2019. “It had nothing to do with us doing anything right. It just had to do with luck. If anyone thinks that this can’t happen again, they don’t have to go back to 1918, they just have to go back to 2009, 2010 and imagine a virus with a different lethality, and you can just do the math on that.”

But an extensive review of the handling of H1N1, including the examination of public records and congressional testimony, suggests the response was not the panacea portrayed by the Biden camp and its defenders...

In as much as Trump didn’t take over the response in New York and New Jersey, who account for a third of the deaths, I suppose a case can be made about Trump’s leadership.

Of course we’re seeing played out in real time what happens when Trump tries to get involved at the local level....which is kinda my point. It’s pretty clear that the failure has been at the local level and primarily Democrat led cities who have suffered.

But Trump has opportunities to educate the public and convince people to take measures.  He also had an opportunity to unite people in saving lives.  But he chose to blame China which accomplishes exactly zero.

See you admit you didn't read it... you "skimmed" it!!!!! Keep lying and crying shilly.

It put China on notice that they would be held responsible for this and should anything else "accidentally" get out of their labs.

Which did exactly zero for the Covid-19 infection raging through America.

Progressives cut off Trump's balls by attacking him incessantly for three and a half years and you have the audacity to complain he didn't take more of a lead on the response to covid19? You really think he was in any position to guide a national virus response, even if that was in his character? He would have ordered Californians to wear masks in public and avoid nursing homes. The predictable response would be large groups of hate filled Progressives gathering maskless at senior centers to protest dictator Trump.

I saw unrelenting attacks against Bill Clinton.  Said he was waving the dog.  Was still able to put together a comprehensive plan of anti-terrorism that was mostly ignored until the Oklahoma City bombing.

That's false.  His efforts and the efforts of others ended up in the Patriot act signed off by Bush.

Bill Clinton wasn't hated anywhere near the level of Donald Trump. If he would have handled Waco correctly there wouldn't have been an okc bombing.

Relentless unhinged attacks on Trump have divided the nation. Half the nation thinks he's Hitler and are willing to climb into bed with neoconservative warmongers if they criticize Trump. The other half think he's doing a great job while under unprecedented attack. That division, along with Trump's long held beliefs in limited federal government, created the covid19 response we have seen. A uniform national response would have been even worse, local response tailored to conditions on the ground was far more appropriate.

the  Patriot Act was done after  9/11..   it had  nothing to  do  with  Clinton

In fact,  if  anyone ever  brigns up  just how  bad Clinton was with  national defense  he gets absolutely  pissed off, because  he  knows he  was  bad.

The patriot act is a good thing? Nsa spying on every American is a positive? We overreacted to 911 almost as much as we overreacted to covid19.

I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, generally. What I will say is that we were getting conflicting information from the CDC for weeks about masks. Trump could have gotten out in front of that more quickly.

On the flip side, Trump did a phenomenal job getting PPE out and has ramped up testing to good levels.

I don’t know what a perfect response looks like but I’m sure Trump didn’t reach perfection.

ICUs are filling up with people needing intubation.  New York needs to rent freezer trucks for the dead bodies.  It swept through our company and made several of us very sick.  Killed one of us.

That's funny because cases have leveled off and deaths are down.

Sounds like you bought a load of shit from your media.
