At what point do the police need to deescalate? Was he a serous threat to their lives? Had either you, or I had done that to another person, we would be arrested. Even if he had instigated the confrontation.  You know it's true. On that there is no argument.

An officer saying to disperse, cease and desist, IS a lawful order and IS an attempt to deescalate. As is well known, there are a LOT of agitators involved in this crap, this idiot has been one for decades.

I don’t remotely feel sorry for him, his choice led to the results.

There must be a cause that goes far back to your physic. Your pathology is more savage than what anyone would consider a  normal human response to watching pain inflected on another human being. Were you sodomized by a family member? Beat by your father? Tortured animals? What's more frightening is that some here actually agree with you. There is a root cause. I've seen many of your posts here, and all of them appear to be anti social, or at the very least, to be coming from the mind of someone who cannot accept  what is real, and what is a cartoon character.

at first the police said he tripped.

I'm a realist Jean.

As I stated earlier, I can't help it if you libs can't handle reality.

This guy had a history of agitating and stirring people up. The cops knew who he was and had told him to clear the are several times.

The old man knew they were about the sweep the crowd and put himself in their path intentionally.

Any rational person can see that.

Sorry if you don't fit that category.

Let's see we have on tape the guy lying on the ground bleeding from his head and from his ear and the cops walking by. That's because they are brutal assholes who don't give a s*** about anyone.

Keep agitating, breaking the law, and escalating - I suspect we’ll see more.

It doesn't matter one bit to Americans what trump says.

It's all there for them to see he was pushed.

What kind of slimeball watches a video and then says the guy fell harder than he was pushed.

Like the guy wanted to give himself a serious head injury.

I'm sure the idiots that stand in front a moving car and then get hit didn't know it was gonna hurt as bad as it did either.

Good chance neither did this guy. Release the medical report.

Yes, please do. Do you think that bleeding from his ears is a chronic condition. Has he bled since he was a child? Maybe he was on blood thinners, a leading cause of ear bleeding after being pushed to the cement. You cult members will try to justify anything.

Why did the police lie in the first place?

they were guilty and trump knows it.

the question is why did trump lie about it?

An elderly man approaches a police line in Buffalo, New York. He is pushed backward by police, stumbles and falls, hitting his head on the pavement. Blood immediately begins to pour from his ear. None of the officers stop to help him.

Video captures Buffalo police push elderly man to the ground 01:49
In a country on high alert for incidents of unnecessary use of force by police against those protesting in the wake of the death of George Floyd, the video sparked outrage. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo called the episode "wholly unjustified and utterly disgraceful." The two officers involved in the incident were suspended.
But on Tuesday morning, the President of the United States suggested -- without offering a shred of evidence -- that the entire episode was the result of a broad scam involving Antifa, a protest organization "whose political beliefs lean toward the left -- often the far left -- but do not conform with the Democratic Party platform."

You are wasting your time trying to reason with these cult members. Time to walk away and let history deal with them. After THE PIG  is gone, we will start to heal this country. It won't change overnight, and not everything, but it will change. The best part, some of these people here will fade into obscurity.

Most of them are already in obscurity. They are ensconced in trailer parks and gated communities and only come here to be insulting.

We'll all fade into obscurity someday, you included.

I get the feeling that you may end up like that old guy on the sidewalk in Buffalo first though... through no fault of your own of course.

It will always be somebody else's fault to people like you.

Run along back to your safe space Jean, you seem to have a hard time out here in the real world.

NO!

He was not prepared to be pushed. He hit the pavement hard.  He was trying to prevent those strutting cops to back up the crowd.

Once again, you are making the call based purely on emotion.

An old man got hurt, and that's all that matters to you. Not the how or why, or any objectivity at all, just emotion.

Your handlers know this, and they play you like a puppet on a string with it.

This was police brutality. Period.

The cop who pushed the 75 year old man needs time behind bars.

Every cop who failed to help the fallen man needs fired and blacklisted.

Every cop who resigned the special squad in support of their bully brother needs fired.

Commanding officer needs suspended.

Time to drop some zero tolerance on bad cops and those who enable them.
