We are still - under-reacting to this.  There will be no going back to normal.

From the sniffles? Yes, we will get back to normal. Aids killed 600,000 gays and Broadway never missed a night.

The disease is not going away anytime soon. In fact, according to experts, there is a very good chance in will return and will be worse then the first wave. This country will never get back to "normal" for a very long time. How long did it take for us to get back to "normal" after 9/11? It never did, and that was only 3000 souls.

Remember Jean...after the COVID warning was announced dems like Pelosi and De Blasio told people to go out and play in the streets.

Cuomo sent COVID patients to elderly homes.

They did this for one reason...they wanted the virus to spread so they could continue to blame Trump.

That was over ten or twenty years.  This is a 1/6th of that, in 90 days.  You'd better hope that slows to nothing (but it's rising again).

We aren't going to be getting back to normal. We are just going to have a much larger sweeping lockdown.

You seem to be in a brighter mood.

With your permission, Sir...........may I ask..... about how your Lady is?

( 100 decent men knelt and prayed for her recovery).                    😇

No, it works perfectly. Your inability to grasp it notwithstanding.

Not that I want to get this thread off-track but if the US was 7 states, and candidate A won 4 of them, but candidate B got the most votes over all, which one wins?

Seriously? You still don't know how it works? Under the EC system, the candidate who receives the most electoral votes wins. So how many electoral votes does each of your seven states have and which candidate won which states? Then I can answer your question.

Hundreds of thousands in a 5 year period. Aids attacked young adults in the prime of their cock sucking lives, took longer to kill them. 80%+ of covid19 victims are over 70 with serious comorbidities.

Okay, I can work with that:

600,000 over 5 years is 120,000 per year.  Based on Covid-19 so far, it's 100,000 in 90 days or 400,000 per year. Times 5 that is 2,000,000 deaths.

Old and sick or not, that's a lot of dead Americans.

Doesn't many how many electoral votes, just like it doesn't matter how many runs in the World Series.  Now, answer please?

Again, targeted far different demographics. The flu regularly kills tens of thousands of elderly Americans. Heart disease even more. Aids decimated an otherwise healthy population.

So did the Spanish Flu of 1918-19,  Why would that matter?

Yes, I'm sick of hearing pundits talk about how the virus killed the economy.

Governors, hiding under the skirts of their state health directors, killed the economy.

In the US, Presidents are elected by the electoral college. Take a civics course, you're ignorant as hell.

Answer the question. Under these rules the winner can either be the one with the most states won, or the most votes won.  Which will it be?

People living life bothers you, doesn't it? Disobeying their masters. Can't fix being power-drunk.

How many would die if they could never leave their house and never live life?

For all you know, which is nothing, more people would end up dead being locked in their house all summer. Not to mention the total collapse of modern society.

If "under these rules" the winner can be either, those are stupid rules.

Why does it not surprise me that your example is stupid?

The EC has clear rules for determining the winner. Your dumb scenario, by your admission, does not.

I know this one, this new chat thing. I've seen it called the "shoutbox" among other things in my past. Very hard to hide from the chat box. The question is asked, there's no time to go search what other folks think, this is real time. Only seconds should be between chat box replies. This one is made for me. In the chat box one has to be quick on their feet with stuff at the ready. This chat box is the worst nightmare of anyone trying to deal with ol' teach.

  • By pmurT

hey @teacher that sounds like too much work for me LOL I need that useless thing called *time* in order to authenticate facts and truths which get posted by deceitful Dems

What does the red number refer to? currently, on my screen it says 2

  • By kfools

    Where does it say 2?

  • By kfools

So. In the chat....if you tag a member the text afterwards should be a private message.

How do? I'm teacher. If I'm online and the powers that be can figure out how to make it immediately apparent to me that whatever I've said here has been replied to I'm gonna show up right quick and kick some teeth in. It's the chat box, all this is new and scary. I know this gig. This starts now.
