When you're ahead in the polls, and your your opponent is out there beating himself up every day, you don't need to do too much. Joe is playing it smart. Large gatherings are dangerous to do right now

Squatstopeepussyman, I still see your proving your a moonbatty idiot with every post...

Joe says he will answer you directly on this:   "Look man, I think I can speak French enough to say pretty much anything I want to say. We're talking Nukes, man, Trump kills because Nutonium

But you said "I dont share your views when it comes to radicals/communists and never will."    I agree communism is garbage.   So why did you say what you said?

I dont share your views about how common/prevalent they are in america or how influential they are. Now, I answered your question and with that, I respectfully end the discussion. Fair enough?

It's unclear why you don't share my views since I've presented a mountain of evidence indicating they are common/prevalent.

You've presented ... well ... NOTHING to prove I'm wrong.   Not a damn thing.   Fair enough?

Consider the co-founders of BLM who recently stated they are "trained marxists".    You act as if they didn't say that.

I answered your question. Did I not?

It's really ok to not share your views. You have yours and I have mine. This is exactly why I did not want to go down this rabbit hole.

BLM is not the topic of this discussion.

No, you did not and you know you didn't.   I clearly wanted to know why you said "I dont share your views when it comes to radicals/communists and never will."   And you are clearly avoiding answering that question.    You want to hide your reason which make me suspicious, as I have been since you first arrived here, that are not what you claim, IO.

Well, it is clear from a simple perusal of the thread that I answered your question concerning my views on communism.  We differ on how common/influential they are and you know what? Its ok to not agree.

Yes, I should have been a bit more clear in the beginning but was trying to not go down this rabbit hole.

No, you did not.  You did not show how you don't share my views ... which is what you claimed.   The only statement you supplied ... calling Marxism garbage ... is a view we share.   And now you're just running from telling us why you don't think communism is pervasive in the Deep State.  Like I said, I've presented a mountain of evidence to show it is and you've presented nothing.   In fact, I posted a thread showing scores of associations by hard core socialists/communists with Obama  ... to the sound of {crickets} from LF's peanut gallery.   You're hiding IO, and I would like to know why.   Perhaps you aren't as *impartial* as you claim?

Believe it or not, I do not read 99% of your posts.  Your items about covid are interesting but anything else, I scroll past or do not open the thread. Most of it is that I am not interested in it which is ok. I would like to think that you do not read my every post. If you do...you have my pity

Your question was about my views and I answered. Oh well, let's move on and call it an impasse

So, in other words, you were just talking out the side of your mouth when you said we don't share the same views.

Because as already demonstrated and now admitted, you don't even know my views.

Quote

Your question was about my views and I answered.

You said "I dont share your views when it comes to radicals/communists and never will."

I asked "And what is your view, IO?"

You said "about radicals/communists, lets just leave that for another day."

I observed "Just sounds like an excuse not to deal with it, even thought it's central to what's going on."

You said "It amazes how I am so civil with you about the radicals/communists and you can't be civil in return. "

I said "Calling you out for you offering an excuse not to say where you stand on communism ... which is central to what's going on ... is not civil?"

You replied "The civil response would have been, "ok" or "until that time"."

I prodded "Come now, XO, you mean you can't tell us what you think about communism in one paragraph?    I can and have.   In one sentence, in fact.   The only reason I can think why you wouldn't do that is that you're afraid you can't defend what you would like to say about it.   Because I'll say it again, communists are trying to take over this country using Biden as a stepping stone into office or a puppet should they allow him to remain alive after winning."

You responded "Having read Das kapital cover to cover and having studied it as part of a bachelor's degree in economics, it is garbage."

My response:   "But you said "I don't share your views when it comes to radicals/communists and never will."    I agree communism is garbage.   So why did you say what you said?"

Your response: "I dont share your views about how common/prevalent they are in america or how influential they are.  Now, I answered your question and with that, I respectfully end the discussion. Fair enough?"

My reply: "It's unclear why you don't share my views since I've presented a mountain of evidence indicating they are common/prevalent.   You've presented ... well ... NOTHING to prove I'm wrong.   Not a damn thing.   Fair enough?   Consider the co-founders of BLM who recently stated they are "trained marxists".    You act as if they didn't say that."

And that last sentence is TRUE.   You are clearly trying to avoid telling me (us) your justification for saying you don't share my views.   Have you a justification?   Maybe not.   And by the way, BLM is part this discussion since you claim communism is not common/prevalent in the opponents we are currently facing.   Once again, I offer evidence to the contrary.  You offer nothing.   If all you have are unsupported opinions on this topic, just be honest and admit it.   Then you won't get hassled by people like me.  B)

I have read enough  in short snippets to know we do not share the same view. I can know I dont like a certain food and not have to continually eat it. The first time is enough. You care deeply about this topic and I care very little...dude, it happens. Hence, why I do not want to go down this rabbit hole. It amazes how you cant simply move on. I have quite quite civil and respectful. Nowhere have I said that you are wrong...two people can have different views. Would you agree?

Still you don't say why she don't share the same view?   What have you read to support your view ... whatever it is?

Yes you have.   You've said we don't share the same view.   That's tantamount to telling me I'm wrong.

32 minutes ago, impartialobserver said:

Sure.   But generally both people can express the reason for their difference (even if one of the reasons is nonsense ... which is often the case with democRATS).

You seem unable to express the reason.   Which makes me curious.

Not sharing your views is not the same as saying that you are wrong.  Not sure how to explain that in greater detail. I just do not care to dive into a lengthy, involved debate with you. Not sure what is so offensive about that.

Well then be curious.

On another note, almost done compiling the state by state covid data along with what you provided into a database that combines that with economic data. As of yet, the only conclusion the data bears out is that those states who took the earliest/most aggressive actions suffered the worst economic outcomes

I don't think you can explain that logic.

I can disagree that tom Brady is the best QBs of all time but not necessarily think that the other person is wrong.

About covid, the data that has been the toughest to teack down is number of tests administered. Once I have that, I may approach kfools about putting it up on the forum.

The question that I'm trying to answer from a purely statistical viewpoint is...was it worth it? Had we done nothing, his would that compare to what we are doing now?

He gave a speech not from his home did he say how he would address the communist Chinese virus as president?

Wear the mask, wash your hands, practice social distancing.

Do pretty much the OPPOSITE of what Trump did when he violated the protesters rights with gas so he and his pals could hold the First Annual Presidential Unmasked Lilywhite Parade of Photo Opportunists, ending with the President triumphantly holding up a Bible upside down.

Most of them did, but that is not the point, is it?

The fact is that the Lilywhite Parade of Maskless Photo Opportunists was hideously stupid. Who was impressed by these fools lining up for a photo?  Who was impressed by Fearless Leader standing in front of a boarded up church holding a Bible upside down with a dumbass grin on his face?  Was it worth gassing over a hundred legal protesters?
