I'd be interested to see the difference as I suggest above - I know my selections would be different now.

Mine are different now too

I'm surprised how difficult it is to get the numbers from the state, my state, on how many new cases a day.

Virus.

Yes, I do.
Also know folks who have lost their jobs temporarily
And bar owners trying to hang on.
And lots and lots of folks who are working from home

It's also affecting my life in areas I didn't imagine
For example, I need to see my cardiologist. It's time for my yearly, and I've been having problems. I think I need some sort of tune up.
They changed the appointment to phone only, and if I need a stent, it may have to wait until this panic is over.

I don't know anyone that has it, but like you I am being effected by it and know many people effected by it, no employees only business owners. well other than the employees get time off and unemployment. sorry for your situation and I hope you make it through this alive.

my general practitioner when asked if he has diagnosed anyone with it said, I have no comment.

I found the numbers, finally, already in a graph

In our governor's daily press conference, they talk about "flattening the curve"
By the standard, the virus is still out of control.
Take a look

That "curve" is arcing upward

This is the graph they were using two days ago

And this is the one they used today

One thing  we know about life is constant change.
What's funny to me is that so-called "progressives" fear change the most.

Our insurance at work has this thing called Teledoc. I face timed with the doctor and he phoned in prescription for antibiotics and my wife went and picked them up.
Very handy, but only made possible by the free transfer of my medical records
That's a little concerning

Welfare babies.  The government isn't here to take of you because you didn't plan ahead.

Rule of thumb.  Everyone should have at least 6 months worth of living expenses in savings in the bank at all times.
