Assange is being held at a British prison while fighting extradition to the United States on spying charges. His full court hearing is due to begin next week. At a preliminary hearing held in London, lawyer Edward Fitzgerald said now-former Republican congressman, Dana Rohrabacher, visited Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London in August 2017. BatteryPowered
FYI...the "offer" was made by Dana Rohrabacher (former Congressman from CA) in August 2017. He admits to telling Assange he would get Trump to give him a pardon if he turned over information proving the Russians had not been the source of the DNC emails published by WikiLeaks. According to Rohrabacher's words; “I spoke to Julian Assange and told him if he would provide evidence about who gave WikiLeaks the emails I would petition the president to give him a pardon,” He also said he never spoke with Trump.
