Point is, the House should have done it's job and subpoenaed all that they felt needed to testify and took them to court if Executive privilege was asserted. If the court ruled in favor of congress, those called would have to honor the subpoena. If the Trump administration did not honor that court order, then PERHAPS there would have been a case for obstruction of justice (not congress). We all know why the democrats did not take this route.
