Dershowitz distances himself from White House response to Democrats’ impeachment charges

“I didn’t sign that brief,” Dershowitz said in an interview on ABC News’s “This Week.” “I didn’t even see the brief until after it was filed. That’s not part of my mandate. My mandate is to determine what is a constitutionally authorized criteria for impeachment.”

If he's a traitor why no treason charges?

because the word treason is bandied about without any knowledge of what the charge of treason entails one of the elements of treason is that the individual levies war against the United States.

How Trump is a traitor:

"The Constitution specifies that the President “shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”40

The Constitution further provides that the Senate may vote to permanently “disqualif[y]” an impeached President from government service.41

The President takes an oath to “faithfully execute the Office of the President of the United States.”42 Impeachment imposes a check on a President who violates that oath by using the powers of the office to advance his own interests at the expense of the national interest."
