They know damn well he is guilty. We will see who has a spine and who respects their oath.

Guilty of attempting to extort dirt on his opponent by withholding funds from a foreign government. He is convicted out of his own mouth. The senators know damn well that that is true.

Some say abuse of power isn't a crime. They don't know what the word "abuse" means

No crime required. There were no federal statutes when the Constitution was written. High crimes and misdemeanors are as determined by Congress.

Trump abused his executive authority by trying to extort political help from a foreign government. Eminently impeachable. He should be removed from office.

As a matter of fact that is correct it is up to the Congress. Clinton got impeached over a b******. This is  more significant.

Misdemeanors does not mean jaywalking.

Jesus. What a moron. Listen to what you are saying. Your argument is

"Trump is guilty, he needs to be impeached"   You are asked

"Guilty of what crime"

You say

"There doesn't need to be a crime congress can determine what is a high crime and misdemeanor"

You see where we have the problem here right?

If the congress can make up whatever they want as high crime then the senate can obviously acquit if they disagree those things are high crimes yes?

lol.

You've ensured Trump will be the first president to suffer a partisan impeachment, a public acquittal, followed by his reelection.

Impeachment, in of itself, isn’t a criminal arena - its political.  Only after a potus is removed, can he/she be charged, tried, convicted, and (potentially) sentenced.

That’s only after he/she has been impeached, removed & is a private citizen.

And now liberals are screaming that politics cannot be used, and that they want a "fair trial".

Using your extremely low bar for impeachment, any president can be impeached for political purposes. You sure you want to stick with that line of thought?

We should have fair trials for the sake of transparency.  But that’s true in and out of the political arena.
