cooking spinach is one of the easiest things to cook in the  world.

It is indeed easy to cook. Making it delicious, however, is not.

America - has moved back to participation, as opposed to entertainment.

America used to work, and needed entertainment.

Now, it lives off the Government and needs a life, be it an artificial one.

Sad commentary, but go to a baseball game, and look at the crowd.

...Like a welfare line (or Democrat National Socialist polling place).

That isn't true.

I like Spinach... cooked or not. It all depends on one's taste. Cabbage is my "spinach"... tastes terrible raw and making it delicious.. no one has done it yet.

50% of Americans - don't pay Income Tax.

When Baseball became a professional Sport, neither Income Tax nor welfare existed.

Everybody either worked or starved.

It was structured so that, a Working Man, could take the day off, and for less than one day's pay, take his kids to a ball game, including hotdogs/sodas/crackerjacks.

I admit to having some pretty good sauerkraut. Kimchee can also be pretty good.

That's good for you. I am not a picky eater but cabbage is the no-go of all no-gos in my book.

Again, to each their own. Cabbage is really the only no go on my list. May not like but can tolerate anything else.
