X-republican JoeScarborough: ConManTrump doesn’t realize how much trouble he’s in — and GOP unsure how to defend him

Joe Scarborough said President Donald Trump is fooling himself on impeachment.

Trump insists he did nothing wrong in his actions toward Ukraine and complains that he’s the victim of an impeachment “hoax,” but the “Morning Joe” host said that most Americans disagree.

“He’s talking to himself when he talks about a perfect phone call, yeah,” Scarborough said. “He says it’s a hoax, because what he’s facing now isn’t even what he was facing with (Robert) Mueller. There’s more of a split when it came to what the American public believed, but he said it’s a hoax and nobody can believe this is happening, and etc., etc., etc., and yet over 70 percent of Americans want a full and fair trial.”

“They don’t want ‘Moscow Mitch’ McConnell and (Sen.) Lindsey Graham to shut things down,” he added. “Over 70 percent want to hear from witnesses. That’s seven in 10 Americans. They want to know the truth, that’s all they want to know. They want to know the truth.”

A slim majority of Americans also agree that Trump should be impeached, Scarborough said.

“He says it’s a hoax, nobody can believe this,” Scarborough said. “He’s talking to himself. A majority believes he should be impeached. We remember that Fox (News) poll and other polls that show majority believe he should be removed if office for that phone call, and the things that he did around that, as well.”

“So this is a problem with the Republicans not being able to put together a defense of Donald Trump,” Scarborough added. “He lives in a separate universe from the rest of them, factually, and he’s disconnected from the reality of this political crisis.”

From Gallup:

Analyzing Black Support for President Trump

https://news.gallup.com/opinion/polling-matters/268517/analyzing-black-support-president-trump.aspx

same stability holds true for Trump's approval rating among black Americans. Gallup averages show Trump with a 10% approval rating among blacks in 2017, 11% in 2018 and 10% so far in 2019. In short, Trump's approval rating among blacks has essentially not changed over time, despite blacks presumably having had plenty of time to observe the economic gains that Trump touts as the reason why they should be moving into his camp.

Approval ratings for an incumbent president have a significant relationship to actual election outcomes. I think it is fair to say that Trump's progress toward a substantially higher share of the black vote than he got in 2016 is in severe doubt if he maintains a 10% black approval rating.

Said with an attitude of ignoring it again.  Your choice, your reality is crumbling, will you survive without your social caricature to who you believe you became after birth?  Roadkill on the intellectual highway of manifesting eternal hell so far.

Trump has done more for blacks than Obama did in 8 years...a lot more!

Correct. Obama never gave a crap about his people.. because he has no pulse on the black community

Yep...many blacks around the country have said the dems only show up for elections...then they disappear until the next election.

Some polls are showing as high as 30%. Praise be to Kanye.

ha ha ha ha ha ha. you convinced yourself that is a winning strategy as it seems to never fail historically.  But historically nobody ever argued now was Eternity all the time.  Intellect without instinctive navigating has no center being spontaneously alive as individually here through reproduced results so far.
