This was what the last election was about, at least for me. Enjoy it for decades to come.....

1 in every 4 circuit court judges is now a Trump appointee

After three years in office, President Trump has remade the federal judiciary, ensuring a conservative tilt for decades and cementing his legacy no matter the outcome of November’s election.

Trump nominees make up 1 in 4 U.S. circuit court judges. Two of his picks sit on the Supreme Court. And this past week, as the House voted to impeach the president, the Republican-led Senate confirmed an additional 13 district court judges.

In total, Trump has installed 187 judges to the federal bench.

The 13 circuit courts are the second most powerful in the nation, serving as a last stop for appeals on lower court rulings, unless the case is taken up by the Supreme Court. So far, Trump has appointed 50 judges to circuit court benches. Comparatively, by this point in President Obama’s first term, he had confirmed 25.

Trump’s appointments have flipped three circuit courts to majority GOP-appointed judges, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit in New York. The president has also selected younger conservatives for these lifetime appointments, ensuring his impact is felt for many years.

Trump has facetiously thanked Obama for leaving him so many judicial vacancies.

“Now, President Obama was very nice to us. He gave us 142 empty positions. That’s never happened before,” Trump said in the Oval Office on Thursday. “But, as you know, that’s said to be the most important thing that a President has.”

Most definitely winning in this critical category. I love a couple of things from the article, aside from the sheer volume of appointee's.

- Obozo left 142 vacancies. Undoubtedly he was too busy scheming up the "insurance policy" we've seen the left attempt to employ over the last three years.

- Trump has double the Circuit Court nominees confirmed versus Obozo during the same time-frame.

- During the week of the House having its impeachment circle jerk - 13 District Court judges were confirmed by the Senate. Heck, we should do this impeachment stuff more often with those numbers.

- Trump is appointing very young (for judges) Conservative judges that will be in place for decades.

Definitely winning...

^^^^^^^Agreed!

and then this....

Aside from Cabinet-level appointments, a ProPublica investigation found that at least 187 Trump political appointees have been federal lobbyists.

CREW slammed Trump for “filling the swamp with lobbyists” and special interests despite his repeated vow to “drain the swamp.”

“Trump’s actions upon taking office also demonstrate — despite the tough campaign rhetoric attacking Washington, D.C.’s ‘revolving door’ — not only an unwillingness to take on special interests, but a continued expansion of the influence of lobbyists on his administration,” the group said in a statement. “Trump has abjectly failed to ‘drain the swamp.’ To the contrary, he has repeatedly turned to industry insiders and lobbyists to advise him.”

Many scholars are talking about how this may be Trump's most important part of his Legacy.

2-4 Supreme Court Justices, 187 Federal Judges.  All, lifetime appointment with at least 30yrs.

of life in front of them.  The Shaping of the whole Judicial System to a more...…..

"fair & balanced"...….playing field.                  👍.
