America is not a democracy, it is a plutocracy!

Recommended Posts

There was a time back in the 1940s, when America was fighting the fascists in Europe (Germany & Italy), when there was a draft, and everyone, even the rich, were called up to fight in the war, but then, America knew that the Nazis were evil, and that fascism was insidiously insane, and the love of freedom, and patriotism was rampant in America.

But times have changed, and so has the Republican Party.

We no longer have a draft (we should bring it back), and we now have a president who praises Nazis ("some are good people too!!!"), and who defends fascist despots like Vladimir Putin of Russia, while denouncing the very U.S. Intelligence agencies, who worked with courage and dedication to protect America from our enemies, especially Russia! And the Republican Party, which literally used to go "bonkers" if anyone had anything to do with Russia, now look the other way, as Trump grovels to Putin, and does his "masters' bidding!

If you wonder how America ever got to be so divisive and self-destructive, you only have to look at our antiquated election laws, and how the Republican Party, which is a minority in America, with the help of the plutocrats have come to exploit our voting structures, and control the government! You also have to consider the rise of fascist media in America such as; Fox "News," Hate-Talk radio, and the Internet abominations like Breitbart and lunatics like Alex Jones of "Inforwars," who sell and spread bigotry, lies, and fear-mongering to America daily!

Electorally, he Senate is totally undemocratic, since the small population states have two Senators just like the large population states. If you added up all the votes the Republican Senators got versus how many votes Democratic Senators got, the Democrats would have far more votes from the country as a whole.  And yet the Republicans control the Senate! Basically, states like WY with not even a million people, have the same say as CA which has 40 million people!

The Presidency is the only electoral office in America, which represents the entire nation, but the presidential election depends on the Electoral College, which like the Senate confers, proportionally  more votes on small states  than large states, and has allowed the 2000 election, and the 2016 election to go to the Republican candidates, who didn't even receive a plurality of the national vote!!!

The Republican Party is a minority party in America, but because of the Electoral College, they control the WH, and because of the Senate's election structure, they control that body as well.

And so long as the GOP can gerrymander, suppress voters, and receive "Citizens United" abundances of money from their plutocratic patrons, the GOP will continue to rule America for the benefit of their greedy and polluting corporate clients, as well as rich greed-heads like the Koch and Mercer family, as well as the NRA, and any other disreputable organization that can "donate" money in vast quantities to elect the fascist Republicans to office.

America is not a democracy. It is a plutocracy, and it is leaning more and more into fascism thanks to the corrupt, cowardly, and criminal Republican Party, and its current depraved leader in the WH, the Traitor Trump!!!

If only Americans under 40 years of age had voted, Democrats would have won elections in a landslide.  The younger generation is less bigoted, less conservative, and more interested in protecting the environment, and doing something to reverse Climate Change, while the older generation is white, and mostly votes Republican.

Any American who votes for Trump or any Republican candidate may as well commit suicide, since neither Trump nor the GOP give a rats ass whether you live or die, and will take away your affordable healthcare, pollute the bejesus out of the environment, and sell America out to any foreign dictator who pays them enough money!!!

This idiot supported a president who assassinated his own citizens without due process and made certain kinds of light bulbs illegal.

USA is a republic but democrats spend all their days twisting it into all kinds of stupid BS that is anything but a constitutional republic with common law courts by and for the people. Democrats spend all their time and focus on spy story BS on the other side of the freaking world.

The violence of the government, the volence of the criminals, these are reasons to protest.

“Anti-vaxxers are a scourge and a strong argument for

>>>>>>re-education camps, the immediate seizure of their property, and putting their children into protective custody,"<<<<<<<< tweeted Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson), a neo-con Republican strategist and so-called “never Trumper.”

The origin of the Nuremberg Code began in pre–World War II German politics, particularly during the 1930s and 1940s. The pre-war German Medical Association was considered to be a progressive yet democratic association with great concerns for public health, one example being the legislation of >>>>>>>>compulsory health insurance<<<<<<<<<< for German workers. However, starting in the mid-1920s, German physicians, usually proponents of racial hygiene, were accused by the public and the medical society of unethical medical practices. The use of racial hygiene was supported by the German government in order to create an Aryan "master race", and to exterminate those who did not fit into their criteria. Racial hygiene extremists merged with National Socialism to promote the use of biology to accomplish their goals of racial purity, a core concept in the Nazi ideology. Physicians were attracted to the scientific ideology and aided in the establishment of National Socialist Physicians' League in 1929 to "purify the German medical community of 'Jewish Bolshevism'." Criticism was becoming prevalent; Alfons Stauder, member of the Reich Health Office, claimed that the "dubious experiments have no therapeutic purpose", and Fredrich von Muller, physician and the president of the Deutsche Akademie, joined the criticism.[1]

How it works: The map shows the people have been convicted, pleaded guilty or charged. Go deeper for other key figures and moments of the investigation. Note that Cohen's first guilty plea and Manafort's conviction were on charges unrelated to Russia — but they highlight Trump's broader legal jeopardy.

Election interference:

  • 13 Russian nationals and 3 Russian entities were indicted on charges of violating criminal laws to interfere with the 2016 U.S. election.
    • On the same day, Mueller struck a plea deal with California resident Richard Pinedo who was accused of knowingly making tens of thousands of dollars by transferring hundreds of bank account numbers that were ultimately used to commit wire fraud.

The hacking:

  • 12 Russian military officers were indicted for hacking and releasing the emails of Democratic campaign organizations, including the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, in an effort to interfere with the 2016 presidential election.

Key events

Stone's arrest:

  • He was taken into custody in an early morning FBI raid in Florida Jan. 25 after being indicted on charges that lied about alleged communications with the Trump campaign about hacked emails possessed by WikiLeaks.

Cohen's guilty plea and sentence:

  • He pleaded guilty to eight counts related to tax fraud, making false statements to a financial institution, excessive campaign contributions, and unlawful corporate contributions. He said he was directed to violate campaign law at the direction of an unnamed candidate — implicating Trump.
  • In November, Cohen also pleaded guilty to lying to the Senate Intelligence Committee in 2017 about the length and scope of plans to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. He originally told the committee the work stopped in January 2016 and was not discussed with others in the Trump campaign. Mueller claims Cohen discussed getting Russian approval for the project as late as June 2016.
  • In December, Cohen was sentenced to 3 years in prison.

Russia:

The Manafort verdict:

  • Manafort was found guilty on 8 criminal counts, including bank fraud, tax fraud and hiding a foreign bank account. The verdicts were focused on his activities as a lobbyist for Ukraine.
  • Mueller's team alleged Manafort violated his plea deal by lying repeatedly to federal investigators and the Mueller's team about his contact with the administration and a Russian.

Who's not on the list:

  • Donald Trump Jr. The bigger intrigue is about why there have been no reports that Mueller's team has questioned Trump Jr., given that he is a key player in one of the biggest events: the Trump Tower meeting with Manafort and Kushner. (He did testify before a Senate committee.)
  • President Trump has submitted written answers about pre-election dimensions of the Russia probe to Mueller's team, but did not answer questions about his behavior as president, including allegations of obstruction of justice.

This story has been updated with Stone's indictment and arrest.

Trump has so many former "associates" in prison, he could form a prison bastketball team when he is incarcerated with them, except they're all old, white and fat, and can't jump!!!
