Bribery and Quid Pro Quo Oddly Missing From Dem's Articles of Impeachment

2019-12-10

The Democrats have fumbled their way through President Trump's candidacy and Presidency being aided and abetted by the liberal mainstream media.

They have faced no consequences for weaponizing the FBI against political opponents or refusing to fix the problems facing America just because they hate President Trump.

On Tuesday the Democrats committed another blunder by filing articles of impeachment that did not include any link to their initial accusations of quid pro quo or bribery. The Democrats opted instead to charge President Trump with two incredibly vague charges.

House Democrats are expected to reveal two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday that will be voted on later this month, thus cementing their attempts to remove him from office.

The two articles of impeachment will focus on “abuse of power” and “obstructing Congress,” The Washington Post reported.

During Democrats’ impeachment hearings last week on the House Judiciary Committee, liberal Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz noted that the idea that a president could be impeached for “abuse of power” was an absurd notion.

Dershowitz quote, “The Republicans should have challenged Professor Feldman’s assertion that “abuse of office" is a constitutional basis for impeachment. These words do not appear in the Constitution and such vague criteria were rejected by the Framers.”

Noticeably absent from The Post’s report on what Democrats will introduce articles of impeachment on was “bribery,” which is what their entire impeachment effort has centered around, as they have claimed that Trump engaged in a quid pro quo with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a July 25 phone call.

It seems clear that the Democrats will vote to impeach President Trump in the near future, but what is not clear is whether voters will punish them for this knee jerk reaction.

It's like we've been saying all along...the dems don't have the evidence...they never did.

They're trying to find a creative way out of this impeachment.

He abused his office for personal gain and obstructed congress by ordering witnesses to clam up.
mid s potus could get away with that bs then the constitution is worthless

Sorry, hairball. The idiot dim-0-craps couldn't sell bribery, pay-for-play or extortion. So they come up with this flimsy bullsh!t. LOL!!!

Chairman gonadless has refused to schedule a day of minority witness hearings and continues to ignore this request. WHY? Because he and his fellow dim-0-craps fear a day of minority witnesses will destroy their complete sham of an impeachment process based on lies and hearsay.

Once again the butt hurt, many titted empress was their anointed one, dim-0-craps are breaking the rules and are refusing to allow repulsives their minority day of witnesses.

They will pay heavily come Nov 2020.

There are 31 Democrats that are vulnerable in the upcoming election Republicans only need 19 the stop impeachment. There's some Democrats that are suggesting sensor instead of impeachment. It seems to me that these articles of impeachment are incredibly water down from what I was threatened. There is a distinct possibility that impeachment will not go forward... I believe Democrats are rapidly coming to the conclusion that they're going to have their ass handed to them in November 2020.

If you were advising them what would you tell them to do in order to get out?

Nancy Pelosi can certainly manipulate behind-the-scenes to allow the vote to go forward but to ensure that it fails by a 1 or 2 vote margin... thus placating the base and still trying to mitigate what they all fear will happen in 2020... Especially given the fact that her speakership looks in jeopardy.
