will Pelosi Have the Votes

Recommended Posts

The numbers have to be making her nervous.

She has 233 Democrats in the House.

She needs 218 to pass impeachment bills.

That means she needs 16 of the 31 Democrats from RED districts to fall on the sword and vote to impeach the President.

Will there be 16 who are willing to lose their jobs?

Yes.

No.

I still would be shocked if they allow control of the process to be turned over to republicans.

A vote on articles will do that.

Actually it would be a crime.  You're not allowed to promise anyone in Congress, anything in exchange for their vote.

This floor vote could get close.  Very close.

Will they vote before the end of the year?

How much do you know about Nancy?

She tends to make her moves after her entire caucus is sufficiently in line.

If this is an exception then I will admit it is such. I don't really care.

Bernie would drive this nation straight into Hell.

Bernie would drive the USA bus right over the cliff.

But I did like his idea of taxing Marijuana and funding H/care.

And no cost to the tax-payer.  That is inventive thinking.  I like that.                   🍸

I can’t imagine the pressure they must be under...

I don’t think she votes without guarantees. There’s no way she could possibly risk the vote falling short.

we can only hope. a senate trial would be a nightmare for the democratic party. but they've kind of put a gun to their own heads on the issue.

It still resonates.

I am happy with my tax cut but am ready to shake the damn vending machine and get full lifetime health coverage.

Idiots like you can't vote your best interest. It's against your religion.

why are you concerned with "free" health coverage when you now claim to be a successful school teacher?

does not the NEA teachers union still provide excellent insurance coverage?

A teacher learns to care about what is best for all of their students.

i know that many of the students at my last rural NC school did not have health coverage.

I am retired from teaching now. I work in another field.

And if you pay taxes for health coverage it is not free.
