EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The impeachment inquiry into Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States, uncovered a months-long effort by President Trump to use the powers of his office to solicit foreign interference on his behalf in the 2020 election. As described in this executive summary and the report that follows, President Trump’s scheme subverted U.S. foreign policy toward Ukraine and undermined our national security in favor of two politically motivated investigations that would help his presidential reelection campaign. The President demanded that the newlyelected Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, publicly announce investigations into a political rival that he apparently feared the most, former Vice President Joe Biden, and into a discredited theory that it was Ukraine, not Russia, that interfered in the 2016 presidential election. To compel the Ukrainian President to do his political bidding, President Trump conditioned two official acts on the public announcement of the investigations: a coveted White House visit and critical U.S. military assistance Ukraine needed to fight its Russian adversary.

There will be no impeachment. I actually hope there is though. The American people will get to see the democrats push this whole thing down our throats for nothing. The report is a BIG NOTHING. It makes for a great political ad but there isn't anything there to impeach over, because there isn't a direct link. Look at what it says he sought "nterference". No he did not. He sought aid. There is a big difference.

Dems lose again.

6. The President Wanted Ukraine to Announce the Investigations Publicly In the weeks following the July 25 call, President Trump’s hand-picked representatives carried out his wishes to condition a coveted White House meeting for the Ukrainian President on the public announcement of investigations beneficial to President Trump. Top U.S. officials, including the Secretary of State and Secretary of Energy, were “in the loop.”

Wtf is he doing with his right hand?   Stirring motion

Look at Trump's body language. He flails about like one of those fan driven things car dealers use to attract attention.

Compare him to Herr Adolf's use of hands and arms.

Mr. Holmes testified that the July 26 call became “sort of a touchstone piece of information” for diplomats at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv who “were trying to understand why we weren’t able to get the meeting” between President Trump and President Zelensky and “what was going on with the security hold.”717 He elaborated: 113 I would refer back to it repeatedly in our, you know, morning staff meetings. We’d talk about what we’re trying to do. We’re trying to achieve this, that. Maybe it will convince the President to have the meeting. And I would say, ‘Well, as we know, he doesn’t really care about Ukraine. He cares about some other things. And we’re trying to keep Ukraine out of our politics and so, you know, that’s what we’re up against.’ And I would refer— use that repeatedly as a refrain.718

He reported a crime. He is a patriot. The Senate is dominated by Mitch McConnell, a noted extremely corrupt A-hole.

The most notable thing about Rep. Schiff is his staring. He stares like Superman melting steel girders with his X Ray vision.

The last time I saw a stare like that, I had struck a pig in the head with a sledge hammer.

Clean your pants out, I think Schiff already has a boyfriend.

As of Dec. 27, this year 144 federal, state and local law enforcement officers have died in the line of duty — a rise from the 129 officers killed in 2017. Here, wounded Dekalb County Police K9 Indi stands by his handler's side during a funeral service for Edgar Flores on Dec. 18 in Georgia.

More law enforcement officers were shot and killed in the line of duty in 2018 than last year, driving a 12 percent overall increase in the number of officers who died on the job, according to preliminary data from The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

"Firearms-related fatalities were the leading cause of officer deaths, with 52 officers shot and killed in 2018," the NLEOMF says. That's a rise from 2017, when guns were involved in 46 officer deaths.

The group adds that handguns accounted for the majority of those incidents.

So far this year, 144 federal, state and local law enforcement officers have died in the line of duty — a rise from the 129 officers who died on the job in 2017, according to the group's year-end report for 2018.

The gun statistics reverse what had been a steady trend in recent decades, when police officers were more likely to die from car crashes than gunfire. In 2018, 50 officers died from traffic-related incidents, according to the report.

There has been an average of 55 traffic-related deaths each year in the current decade, with an average of 54 firearm-related deaths. Those numbers are much closer now than they were in the two most recent decades:

  • 2000s: 71 traffic-related deaths; 57 gun-related
  • 1990s: 59 traffic-related deaths; 40 gun-related
