I must be the youngster in this group. My first concert was Jan. 1997 and it was Marilyn Manson.

Ummmm, that was about 23 years ago!  Unless your pregnant mom was moshing down by the stage with you in her belly, you ain't that young!

A lot of the folks on here are telling stories about going to shows in the mid-60's.

My first concert was Buffalo Springfield in 67.

At the Hollywood Bowl? If so, I was there too.

What are the odds?

This isn't a political thread. I'm tipsy on some good wine at the moment. With that said, I declare both Pink Floyd and Eric Clapton as the best artists in the universe. If there are other universes outside of this universe, then Pink Floyd and Eric Clapton would be the best artists of all of those universes also. If you disagree, then you should be ashamed of yourself. If you are not ashamed of yourself, then you should be ashamed of yourself for not being ashamed of yourself.

For once, we  agree on something! Clapton and Steve Winwood! TWO GODS MEET UP! He blows the doors off at 3:20 with the wah wah!

I'm in on Pink Floyd, but, as much as I love Clapton's body of work, for guitar, I'm a Mark Knopfler guy. Amazingly unique style he created. Better voice that Clapton too. And I'm not ashamed.

I saw Clapton twice in the early 70s and he was great but it was during the heroin years and he mostly played chords. I had a chance to see cream at the electric factory in philly but turned it down to have sex with my girlfriend.

saw the stones in 69 and in 72 but  they went down hill in the 70s and look absurd acting like punk kids.

McCartney was the best I ever saw live and by far.

these days I prefer the Brandenburg concertos to anything else other than some groovey new age music

CREAM was the best 3 man GODDAM BAND EVER! EVAH!

I cried when they broke up! But Eric went on with Blind Faith, etc, there is not a better guitar player in the world! Stevie Rae Vaughn comes close, and David Gilmore are great!

You do know Roger Waters hates trump with a passion right?

So who should I change my mind about? Trump or Pink Floyd? Really, Squatch?

Ha! Actually, it's the first thing I ever found worthy of being my signature.
