MFA IS happening sooner or later.... don't bother trying to stop it.

see how that works, asshole?

No and I’m glad you admit ACA failed like we told you it would.

The problem is MFA doubles down on the same fundamental problem ACA caused.

Higher demand and discouraged supply.

Bill, why do you think added a public option would help? If it has to cover exactly like all the other ACA plans, why would it be better or cheaper?

It would test the claim that the costs of Medicare administration are much lower than private insurance. If so, then public option plans could be offered at a lower cost than private insurance. That would put competitive pressure on private insurance to respond. The logic of capitalism and competition in the marketplace.

ACA was always a stepping stone.... remember when the clown promised great healthcare that would cover EVERYONE and would cost less than ACA?  Remember when you were stupid enough to believe that fucking clown?  Remember???

No, ACA was supposed to be a solution.

It failed miserably because you MORONS didn’t listen to people who actually understand economics .....

NO MATTER how many times you retardant claim healthcare is a right, it’s an economic commodity that follows the same rules as all other economic commodities..

1. Greatly expanding excess=greatly expanding demand=greatly expanding cost because you aren’t doing a damned thing to encourage greater supply....

2. The federal government  isn’t efficient at administering anything.

3. you passed your solution and it FAILED.

I’m all for a single payer program from the government as long as it’s:

A. Voluntary

B. The recipients of the plan pay 100% of the cost

The left doesn’t want a solution. They want someone else to pay for their healthcare.

Liar???  I'm not lying about anything.  ACA was never the end all be all of health care... it was a cobbled together compromise made with a bunch of DINO senators.... I think Obama made a mistake with going for passage of that stop gap instead of holding out until he strengthened him majority in the mid-term and then go for single payer universal health care.  But he got something .... and that something (ACA)  continues to have majority public support.

According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, administrative costs in Medicare are only about

The ACA hasn't failed. It brought millions into having healthcare coverage and protected pre-existing conditions. Few want to get rid of it now, as Trump discovered.

Having a Public Option was always part of the plan. It got scrapped as a compromise for passage.

Now in many markets no real competition exists. The Public Option would give people a choice and spur competition from insurance providers.

This appeals to both liberals and market conservatives. It can pass and it makes economic sense.

The insurers clearly sidestep state anti-trust laws by simply dividing the country up into regions and not directly competing with each other in all markets.  Then, within a given local market, they offer their insurances in an apples to coconuts format, so that unraveling them to compare them takes enormous effort.  But if you do it, you'll find that...they're all the same.

UHC is the only possible humane answer for our healthcare system.  Every plausible benefit offered by the current approach is ruined by the numbers of people that get ground up in the gears.

The studies have already shown that people will save on HC costs w/ MFA.

This assertion that it will costs 60-70 trillion dollars is absurd.  It’s such an asinine number that it becomes comical to hear.

What class of people are you speaking to... giant corporations who don’t pay taxes, elites who lobby politicians for (tax) legislation.

Or just poor people who work 40+ hrs a week and still can’t make ends meet... heaven forbid if they get sick and need medical attention.  Their entire financial future my be ruined.

2. You don’t even understand how greatly expanding access will greatly expand demand which of course will greatly increase price.

You have this irrational fear that just bcus healthcare is readily available to all means everyone w/ a headache is going to all show up at the ER at once.

Have you ever been to a hospital?  Hospitals have administrations.  Do you know how they work?

When you go to the ER, they don’t just admit you and ship you off to a room and send you a bill for X.

You sign in through admissions ... Then you’re typically examined by a NP (nurse practitioner) in a pre-exam room to check your history, determine your symptoms, and check vitals.   There’s a good chance your visit could end w/ the pre-exam, if your symptoms are mild and can be addressed w/out an (ER) physician visit.

These checks have always existed in healthcare.  People who make it into the ER typically meet the criteria to be examined by a ER physician.

People aren’t going to flood hospitals just bcus MFA has been adopted.

People still have lives you know.  People still have to go to work.  They still have mortgages to pay.  Utilities to pay.  Car notes to pay.  Groceries to buy.  Children and families to support.  People aren’t going to be vacationing at their local hospitals for fun or bcus they’re bored.

And lastly... and certainly not the last time it will be repeated... taxes pay for the care.  There is nothing free.  There is no such thing.    And you clearly don’t know how insurance works.  The reason why works insurance os typically good is bcus you are in a pool w/ other co-workers leveraging each other.  Individual policies are typically expensive bcus you aren’t leveraging yourself against anyone.  That’s why your premiums are high.

With MFA... we are in the largest possible pool. THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.  With the wealthiest country in the world leveraging ALL of us.  Not just rich people.  Not just poor people.  Not just middle class.  Not just corporations ... We’re ALL in it together.  It is unquestionably the best system of healthcare.  The healthcare for profit is fattening pockets of 4 industries:  pharma, hospitals, lobbyists, insurers... and maybe throw in politicians for a 5th industry.

This way the people can vote on the people negotiating their healthcare.  If we don’t like the job they’re doing - we can vote them out.  We can’t vote out pharma, hospitals, insurers, lobbyists.

That’s bcus trump discarded the mandate.  On top of that, not enough practices elected to carry ACA patients.  If practices aren’t going to see ACA patients, it sort of defeats the purpose of the charter.

It’s just like I explained MFA... the more people in the pool (ACA/MFA) the more costs go down.

If you wish to fix ACA, implore more practices to see ACA patients.  Implore trump to enforce the mandate.  Otherwise, you get people who abuse the system;  which seems to be a major sticking point for you.

Stopped  with your talking points about corporate taxes....

1. 100% of corporate taxes are paid by the consumers.

2. They all pay payroll taxes to keep your SS and Medicare going so all businesses and corporations that pay employees pay taxes.

You’re pretty stupid. Why would I read the rest?

Idiots talking about their  taxes pay for stuff when 60% of Americans get more back than they pay in federal income taxes. 😂

The top 40% pay your 60%’s way and we’re getting tired of hearing endless excuses why you pot addled retards can’t start supporting yourselves.

The only saving grace is self sufficiency is essential for self esteem and true happiness which means welfare rats are miserable pieces of shit.

An owner is either a singular owner or shareholders.  Owners/shareholders are not “consumers”.

“Probably most people assume that the corporate income tax is largely paid by consumers of its products or services. That is, they assume that although the tax is nominally levied on the corporation as a whole, in fact the burden of the tax is shifted onto customers in the form of higher prices. All economists reject that idea.”

It’s the old adage “corporations aren’t people.”  Meanwhile, corps work tirelessly to assure that their operations are kept unaltered.   Why???  More taxes = Less profit margin.

Yes. Taxes aren't figured into a business P&L. 😂🤣🤣

Taxes are built into the cost of the product or service, dummy. Literally every penny of taxes is paid by the consumer.

These "economists" are pretty stupid when it comes to actual business operations.
