Billionaire Home-Builder Bill Pulte has just started Twitter Philanthropy. It is an attempt help people in immediate need without all the red tape.I have known about Bill Pulte for quite a while because Scott Adams has been touting his good work at Blight Authority, and has had him on his show. Pulte is using his own money to clear blight and ready property for construction.

Bill is sending out challenges to various celebrities to retweet his message to gain momentum for his charity. He sent Kanye West  a request to retweet his for which he would donate 25,000. Kanye retweeted and also kicked in $250,000. Other celebrities have retweeted and donated as well.

To get more people involved in Twitter Philanthropy, he needs a strong base of support. President Trump got the ball rolling. All Bill is asking is that people with Twitter accounts follow his account and if you can retweet his post. He has gained 40,000+ followers in the last 24 hours. He stated that if he can reach one million followers, he will pledge one million dollars to Twitter Philanthropy. I ask NHB members to follow his account. It won't cost you a cent. This is a bipartisan effort to help fellow Americans.

Billionaire home-builder Bill Pulte donated $30,000 to a veteran on Wednesday with a little help from President Donald Trump.

Pulte, who also prides himself as being Twitter’s #1 philanthropist, tweeted at Trump on Wednesday promising that he would make the donation if Trump retweeted his offer to donate to the veteran.

Within two hours after the first tweet, Trump retweeted him, saying, “THANK YOU BILL!"

“The President of the United States just retweeted our work – literally punched a hole in reality,” Pulte said in the video. “The president of the United States, with one tweet.”

Pulte added that Trump gave that much-needed boost for shifting the distribution of wealth from the government to rich people giving to those in need.

“I believe that the government should not be in the business, necessarily, of completely redistributing wealth. Right? We need the rich to be able to be benevolent and give back to people and do so in an immediate fashion,” Pulte said.

“And what the president of the United States just did tonight was he just gave us that avenue in. He, just, literally, punched a hole in reality and said, ‘We’re going to take philanthropy, and we’re going to move that online,’” Pulte continued.

Although Pulte is happy that the president is taking notice of his massive giving campaign, he does not plan to end his Twitter philanthropy anytime soon. Pulte placed a pinned tweet at the top of his profile saying that he is looking to help others in need.

I fear you may be right. He sent AOC a  $20,000 challenge to retweet, and nothing as of yet. Sad that people are so partisan. I don't see a downside to this at all.

(I considered what source I should cite. It was on FOX and CNN too.)

30 k is peanuts to a billionaire. it is astonishing that he makes a big announcement as if he is being super generous. it is like a poor person like ducksie taking the last 18¢ from the brats piggy bank and donating it along with a big announcement.

I mean even trump kicked in a year ago  but only after he lied about making a donation and was subsequently shamed by the press into forking over the dough.

these fcuking guys are such pikers

go away with your bulls hit. give money but don't tell anyone like your bible sez.

Don't count me in.

We are far too many as it is!

What humans need is culling, a nice thinning out!

Let the sick die, the hungry starve and make death penalty cover anything more serious than a parking ticket.

But I'll gladly chip in for promoting abortion and even for making it mandatory for certain groups.

Nothing racist about it.

WE JUST GOTTA REDUCE OUR NUMBERS FAST !

my problem ids that this assshole gave the equivalent of throwing the bums a dime and then making a big announcement as if he is being generous. he could have given $30 million. what he did is the monetary equivalent of you coughing up a whopping 30¢ and then announcing it as if you were this really great philanthropist. stop the fcuking bulls hit trump style illusions.

shame this billionaire into giving $30 million. what he is going t miss it?

too funny

One person can't save the world, but if you set up a system where millions can pitch in, it could make a difference in people's lives. Bill Pulte founded Blight Authority more than 5 years ago. It was a purely altruistic venture. He provided the funds, sometimes with the help of state and local governments, to make blighted areas suitable for new construction. He doesn't own the property. Twitter Philanthropy is an expansion of his giving back. He is trying to bring philanthropy online.

Very narrow-minded, hate filled partisan only statement proving you can't see the forest through the trees.
