SAT Adversity Index: A Drive Toward Diversity Without Discussing Race

Recommended Posts

"In the initial data the College Board has collected on some schools that have tried out the new tool, it found that disadvantaged students who did not attend high schools known to be regular feeders to college were more likely to be admitted, said Dr. Bastedo, who served as a consultant on the project. The tool’s impact on the admission of racial minorities has not yet been analyzed."

Academic standards have and will be reduced. If standards remain or are increased the drop out rate will increase. Adversity index is a poor idea and probably racist. Dems were the racists, are the racists, and forever will be the racists. Adversity index is a poor idea.

Great, expect this to be the next scam for kids to be admitted to a specific college:

Actually the biggest scams are at the private ivy league university where wealthy parents bribe their way in.

The decision to give students who take the SAT test a numerical rating that reflects the challenges they have overcome in life is the most telling sign yet that universities across the country are searching for ways to diversify their classes without considering race or ethnicity.

This is a great idea.

You're about 48 hours behind the time, leftist.  I already emailed my alma mater's alumni association.  They were aware of the issue, and vowed to disavow this nonsense with the college admin. They replied to my email within 2 hours.  The ACT is already the predominant form of entrance testing.  The College Board is a hack organization, and the SAT is a joke now.  It has been for years.  Get woke, go broke.   Decent colleges don't accept the SAT anymore.
