"Devout Christians" around the world persecute themselves.   It's not just an "American Christian" thing.

What's the question?  Has any Christian in America ever felt like he was being ridiculed or harassed because he was Christian, by anyone?  Or are we looking for some sort of meaningful systemic persecution?  Because that ain't happening, obviously.

Good question...has any American Muslim ever felt persecuted?   What about Atheists or Buddhist?  Stop the "whining" Christians.

Playing the victim card is not very Christian like.  Pray about it.  🙏

I think they are closer to the opinions on homosexuality found in the bible than Pete Bootygigs take. Saying something like divorce is not a sin or homosexuality is beautiful in God's eyes is baseless and dangerous theology.

How the fvck is spreading tolerance and compassion dangerous???

You're talking about consensual relations between adults.

Meanwhile, spreading anger, hatred and vitriol is perfectly okay?

Being persecuted is not the same as no longer having unquestioned dominion/authority over society. 1890, religious doctrine was the unquestioned source for all (or at least most...99%) of all topics centered around morality and way of being.

All forms of religion is for fools...it doesn't matter the flavor.

True but that is not the point. The supposed "persecution" of Christians (especially those in the US, Canada, UK, etc) is an overreaction to them not existing in a manner where they are the unquestioned authority.

Spreading the lie that God and the bible are pro homosexual, pro divorce, pro infidelity, pro wealth, or pro abortion helps no one. It's no better than wrapping wars and other State sanctioned murders with religious approval. Love God. Fear God. Treat your neighbor as yourself.

Fukk Christians. They should all be murdered.

Just spike all of their dinners with magic mushrooms.  Put some in Trump's KFC, too.  Give them a real taste of God.

Of course it does. They went from being the unquestioned source of morality, social norms, etc. to being questioned, examined, and not always being given the benefit to the doubt. Well, welcome to reality.

The biggest lie is that you or anyone else knows what God wants.

You don't, and you have no right to force anyone to live by the rules of your insane cult of hatred.

The point was brought up,   I couldn't find any examples.  Can you?

In America, Christian persecution is tame compared to outside of America, that is the good thing about America , Anti christians don't kill you in America ( minus the extremest)

But outside of a America is a different story,  Christians are persecuted in the most extreme manner and if you're an American and Christian you are as good as dead if caught by the extremest unless one converts to their extremism and you kill a non believer to prove your worth.

Perhaps but the Bible is pretty clear on God's opinion on divorce, infidelity, and homosexuality. The message is closer to Phelps than Bootygig. I don't claim to know what God wants, only what the bible says on the matter. If one doesn't believe the bible to be the inspired word of God then its of little value outside of archeology, genealogy, and anthropology.

Yes.

Christians are persecuted on college campuses for thier beliefs. That's just one example of many.

https://www.christianpost.com/amp/christian-student-group-takes-university-to-court-after-being-banned-over-leadership-policy.html

The first link shows that they were banned because they violated the rules by not allowing a gay student into leadership.  As per linked article.

According to the suit, in 2016 a student complained that he was denied a leadership position because he was "openly gay." BLinC denied the student's claim, responding that he was denied over his rejection of their statement of faith.

He didn't go to war because of his faith. Neither did we.

Muslims do.

Are you arguing this?
