the overtaking of america were both wars of greed and righteuosness, the europeans claimed that america was the promised land and it was theirs to take,.

Yeah I guess one could see it both ways, but the Europeans were Christians.  I'm looking for examples of atheists who commit righteous wars.  Just to be clear to everyone reading: Not atheist dictators, but the people themselves.

for starters,

from the book of joshua, chapter 6.

20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet,
and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat,
so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

21 And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword

is that what hitler did to the joos?

I did not say that.

But in the Book of Revelation, yes, it says that in the End Times, all the Jews will come to Israel and will bge invited to accept Jesus as thye Messiah and Son o' God, ans those that refuse will all be judged as evil and will be sent to Hell.

The first claim is dumb, no proof, not even provable

Tue second is false because people start wars over far more than 2 reasons

What are the other reasons that people START wars (ie defense is not starting war).

That is what the Hebrews did to the Canaanites who lived in Jericho.

also other places as well.

from numbers 31

16“Look, these women caused the sons of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to turn unfaithfully against the LORD at Peor, so that the plague struck the congregation of the LORD. 17So now, kill all the boys, and kill everywoman who has had relations with a man,18but spare for yourselves every girl who has never had relations with a man

Start a war for revenge?  That's righteousness ain't it?

Can you cite example of war started for those reasons?

You start a war because you want something.  So what would you want?  Well, either something tangible or intangible.  You either want the gold and women, or you want something else.  That something else is righteousness.

It is all a silly myth. The Bible was not written by God, nor is it even divinely inspired.

An omniscient, omnipotent God would surely been able to write a book that was not filled with  contradictions and silliness.

How is killing other people in any way righteous?

The book of life written BEFORE the foundation of the world.  What does that tell ya?  Did you CHOOSE to get on that list?  What free will? LOL

And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
