Am I The Only One Here Who Leads A Drug-Free Life?

Then why did you log onto a "Liberal Forum?" Please tell me, I want to know.

I'm convinced that most of the RWNJs here are old, lonely and have nothing better to do.

They like to start arguments because they know it will get them the attention they crave but cannot receive any other way.

Probably correct. Like barking dogs who just want to be petted.

I am curious if there are any others here besides me who have lead a drug-free life.  Let me define this so that there is no mistake.  I occasionally drink one or two beers, or a glass of wine or two. - yes, I know beer and wine have alcohol, which some could technically claim is a drug.  Occasionally means once a week or less.

So, for purposes of this discussion, I am excluding alcohol.  Also, for purposes of this discussion, I am excluding pain relievers like aspirin, tylenol, Ibuprofen, and other analgesics.  I am also excluding prescription drugs needed to manage some chronic disease, like insulin, etc.

So, other than the one time I took a couple of puffs off of a bong at a party in college, I have never used any drugs recreationally at all.  I have never even smoked a cigarette or a cigar.  In College I did drink more than I do now, but I never had any interest in drugs, not even steroids.

Am I the only one, or are there others like me out there?

I don't know anybody who doesn't do drugs.

Anyway, thoughts and prayers for you.

Nope...I have never taken any illegal drug.  Rarely take OTC pain relievers.  I do take 5 prescription meds for my chronic and uncorrectable afib….which is why I am dependent on a bi-ventricular pacemaker (hence the screenname BatteryPowered).  If it suddenly stops working my pulse rate will fall to around 20.

Had plenty of opportunity.  In college (two different times) I worked on stage-crew and backstage security for KISS, J. Geils Band,, Tower of Power, Rare Earth, Joan Jett, Rick Springfield, Willie Nelson and The Beach Boys (yes...they were old, still into drugs and assholes) as well as several CW acts.  Sometime we would have to pick up joints thrown on the stage for the band (like they couldn't afford to buy their own).  For J Geils I was "band escort"...meaning I was just outside or inside their dressing room.  They had a backpack full or anything you could want and we were told we could help ourselves.  FYI...even with all their drugs, they tool the stage straight.  After the concert...not so much.

Forgot to add...I probably drink a grand total of 6 beers a year.  Even when playing golf I prefer Gatorade/PowerAid or water.

You poor guy. You're addicted to batteries.

Explain how the behavior between and addict  and a habitual practictioner of making their brain less responsive to life beyond their skin is different. Addicts go through severe physical pain upon withdrawn, habitual abusers regret being sober and make excuses to keep using the means to stay high.

either way, the persons doing either are avoiding facing the total sum of their behavior as an ancestor adapting to the moment. Neither help themselves and always poach from others avoiding their practice nd staying as self reiant as realitie allow within society's laws defending addicts and habitual deniers.

Stupid people like you should be eliminated.

About half the country is defined as obese, including of course, Trump, who has lied about his height  to avoid being on some obese list.

No.  There are a few others.  I am actually surprised I'm not alone in this!  I was genuinely curious, that's why I asked the question.

I am amazed that there are so many avid marijuana users on here.

I'm amazed that you are amazed at this!  Especially with regard to the Dems and Liberals.

I know a lot of left leaning folks and not a single one smokes weed. That probably biases my perspective.

Except that it is legal here in Nevada. Being open about it is not a matter of shame. Besides, I know some of these very well. It would come out eventually.
