Why are the libocrats so quiet about the stock market lately?

Joe Six-pack doesn't "play" the market... they may have some mutual funds through their 401k, but that's about it.

In some cases the take home increased, and the refund went down, but it was still a net positive at the end of the day... which meant it was still a tax cut.

 

If you are basing it solely on the amount of your refund, it may just appear that you paid more, since you didn't get as big of a refund or none at all.

 

I know that a bunch of people that were used to getting everything that was withheld out of their check and then some in a refund, got less, but that doesn't mean they paid more since they really didn't pay any at all in the first place.
