If the border was such a national security issue why didn't the republicans fund it in their two budgets over two years.

No. Smart.

If there were landmines on the border would you step on one?

I doubt it.

And you're being non-responsive to my last post, SICKO.

Go ahead, deny that illegals crossing the border aren't already dying by the scores.

Go ahead, deny that illegals aren't already killing American citizens.

AND YOU WANT THAT TO CONTINUE, you SICKO.

So why didn't the GOP fund the wall this fall while they still had the numbers in Congress?  They simply sat on their hands and did nothing, did not pass any spending bill, and waited for the Democrats to take their seats.  Then they blame the Democrats for not funding THEIR wall.  It's supposedly something that Republicans want, and yet they decided to not fund it, even though it was an emergency.  If It's an emergency now it was an emergency in November, when they could have funded it.  And in December, when they kept their session going to prevent Trump from doing anything stupid.  They did nothing.

The Republicans did nothing.  They refused to fund it.

Bye.

So why didn't the GOP fund the wall in November or December again?  I thought we have an emergency, but they decided not to take care of it?  Why was that again?  Emergency?

Still zero explanation for why the GOP refused to fund Trump's wall, despite having 2 years to address this emergency, including November and December of 2018, when they decided...not to fund it.

The Liberals see this and it's pretty obvious they did it to politicize the issue and turn it into a circus that they could use to stir up a big noise among the faithful, who don't seem to have noticed that Wall Street is running the Treasury....still.

There is no other explanation.  The GOP is treating our border security like a political football, playing games with our security, when they could have funded the wall and saved us all.  They screwed us.  And now they're screwing millions.

The problem has gotten worse and worse over the last few months...

Caravans of people headed to the country and the usual illegals trying to get in...

Yes..it should have been addressed by the Republicans....

But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be addressed now...

Trump inherited this problem...

The caravan was on the way during election season.  The GOP could have passed a funding bill then, in November or December.  Why did they not do it?  This is an emergency, if I recall.  Why did they not do it?  Answer the question.

I know!  The GOP decided not to pass the spending bill, instead dumping it off on a Democratic House.  Pathetic.  Why did they do that?

Why?

The fact is, the Trump apologists know there is only one explanation:  the GOP chose not to fund it.  They don't like where that leads their thinking, so they just avoid the whole topic.

quote x 300  ( nearly every day)  ' The Mexicans will pay for the wall' like new York paid for trumps towers. the Mexicans didn't play American football. So he wants to make poor people poorer to pay for it. they will have to work in jobs done by migrant workers to pay for the wall. hence the loop.

So we have an emergency, that's what the GOP tells us.

And for this emergency, we need a wall...emergently.

So they chose to fund it.

No, wait...they chose to not fund it.  And now they blame other people.

Have I got it all sorted out correctly?

You seem to think the "way didn't you guys fix it" excuse works...

The situation has gotten worse and worse with thousands of illegals and caravans.

Trump didn't inherit this problem.

We need help at the border for aid and more agents as well as a wall.

$5 billion is not a lot of $$ to a country that gives away aid over the place..

This is about not letting Trump "win'..

No one cares if it wasn't funded 3 months ago...

Who cares?

We have a problem that needs to be addressed

Caravans of asylum seekers in the thousands
