If the border was such a national security issue why didn't the republicans fund it in their two budgets over two years.

Its real simple people the republicans didn't want the wall. Republicans are defecting from funding the wall. And had two years to fix the problem and went for tax cuts for me instead of doing what they think is a national security issue.

General Kelly said the wall was not a serious issue even at the beginning.

rush commanded trip to build the wall and trump obeyed.

The orders trickled down to gutless repubs who then sold out to trump to force taxpayers to pay for a wall they don’t want.

americans are suffering because of the orange bulls hitter.

he needs to go and soon

It isn't. Everyone knows that.

Trump is lying about it to get what he wants, as he has done his entire life.

And the brainless Bad worder ADMITTED IT - which is yet another charge of high crimes and misdemeanors.

Trump doesn't even want it. He is merely responding to Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter.

So if the wall is such a great idea, and Republicans really want it, why didn't they fund it last year, or this year before they lost Congress?

The fact is, they don't want it.  Nobody wants it.  It's just an excuse to try to spew fear mongering immigrant talk and use it to bash Democrats, to increase divisions and tensions among the people.

It's sickening.  A red herring.

No...

They want a wall and security but they dragged their feet like all politicians do...

there's no excuse for it...

The $ 5 billion is needed for aid and more border agents.

The Democrats should get on board...

Oh, so when the Republicans, whose issue this is, failed to get it done for 2 years, that was just, well, boys being boys, that due date for their term paper snuck up on them.  Whoops.

Odd.  I thought this was an emergency.

So now Democrats, whose constituents are telling them they do not want a wall, are somehow obliged to support a Republican issue that not even Republicans supported when they had a chance.  For 2 years.  And did nothing.

You really believe this stuff?
