Voters should know by now after 70 years politicians have never provided health insurance for the people. Too many on both sides of the aisle take money from the insurance industry, from health care providers and are investors.

Of course,

in analyzing this right wing propaganda,

it discusses what Standard Oil's competitors MIGHT HAVE DONE.

NOT,

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

Since Standard Oil had the advantage of a monopoly,

it had the advantage of introducing new technology,

which would reduce the cost of production,

which would explain the reduction of cost.

However, since Standard Oil was broken up in 1911,

the mention of alternative fuels is deceptive.

Yes,

Diesel was injured attempting to develop a coal powered vehicle,

but gasoline was probably the big seller for automobiles.

No shit, Sherlock!  Of course it never ACTUALLY HAPPENED, dolt, because they never tried to impose high prices as in your ignorant little theory.  The point is, ultra low prices by Standard Oil is what ACTUALLY HAPPENED, which completely destroys your original theory, you damn moron.

Geez... somehow it seems like every post you make is somehow dumber than the last.  Lol...

The U.S. health insurance system is typically characterized as a largely private-sector system, so it may come as a surprise that more than 60% of the $4 trillion or more annual U.S. health care bill is paid through taxes. Therefore 60% of $4 trillion tax dollars or more is the source which could cover the cost of a single payer system. At least a sizeable portion. WHY NOT COVER ALL IN AMERICA FOR ABOUT THE SAME COST AS 60%?

Health care refers to services provided by medical professionals aimed at promoting physical and mental welfare, through the prevention, treatment, and management of illness. This includes care by the medical and allied health professionals, curative care for acute conditions, management of chronic disease, rehabilitation, and palliative care.

Although the aim of health care is to promote individual and public health, health care is a distinct concept from “health.” Factors outside of the provision of health care (e.g., diet, genetics) play an important role in determining individual health, and the provision of health care is only one aspect of the governance of health.

Equally though, governing health care extends beyond promoting health. Health care is a major industrial sector, a growing component of many developed countries’ national economies, and an important component of their labor force.

Put choices on the table! And show veterans and business a little more respect in the process.

LET THE VOTERS DECIDE ON A 2018 BALLOT NATION WIDE = allowing consumers 3 options for the rest of their lives. Which one works best for YOU

=== ObamaCare which retains the health insurance industry. Sooner or later much of this group will enroll in single payer.

=== Single Payer Medicare for ALL = excellent coverage for those who wish to enroll. The absolute best choice on planet earth. https://www.healthcare-now.org/docs/spreport.pdf

=== Self financed health care for those able to do so aka opt out.

=== ALL Disabled vets should receive Medicare with a 100% benefit so they and their families can receive medical care immediately upon discharge. Make it retroactive.

=== Business should not be forced to provide health insurance.

Again WE know that using the existing medicare template to service Medicare for All Single payer saves lots and lots of dollars over reinventing the wheel. http://www.healthcare-now.org/docs/spreport.pdf

Medicare Single Payer Insurance is the one that would be best for large and small business plus individuals. It is by far the most practical and comprehensive AND the best bang for the buck.  Put this on the ballot. Let the people make the choice.

Medicare Single Payer Insurance has been on the table for years therefore has been tuned up and refined

Why use the Medicare template? It eliminates reinventing the wheel therefore saves a big bundle of money and time = efficient use of existing resources. Medicare is in place therefore it is ready to roll which is convenient.

The USA needs to STOP being be the most expensive insurance/health care of the industrialized nations if americans want jobs back.

Medicare Single Payer Insurance for All is key to creating new wealth for america.

The most expensive health insurance in the world is not the answer for keeping business costs down nor for keeping our cost of living somewhat in check.

Consider the USA as the only major industrial nation that does not provide health insurance/health coverage for its' people.

It is the private medical insurance industry that denies healt care AFTER taking YOUR MONEY for years.

Smart Medicare Insurance for All will not only improve our quality of life but also our wallets. Yes we would have more expendable cash for birthdays,Christmas, vacations and investments.

Smart Medicare Insurance for All cannot be cancelled…..because everyone pays taxes somehow = all are paying their own way.

You are getting some kind of schadenfreude from thinking you're convincing them you're smarter than them. It's never going to happen.  They are too stupid to understand how stupid they are.  Get some other satisfaction from shutting down a part of their forum and making it yours.  You can conquer it - if you had balls.

there is no conservatives only at this .org site. over at its .net, yes.  Here is what I run into though, navigating by the concept Eternity is the universal point of being perpetually balancing results regardless inorganic galactic position or ancestral reproduction that was or is being eternally separated now as exactly adapting to the moment doesn't sit well for those thinking their collective side of thinking outside self contained to their biological position  gives them the rights to remove the liberty to speak about how life physically cannot exceed existing when simultaneously here. Everyone compares cycles relative to time line semantics, not as actually taking place at the same time all the time each is present during their stay being a reproduction within this species.

Single Payer the smart choice which if pushed big time by the USA middle class should not require any new taxes. Taxpayers could shift OUR money from the off budget war machine and could shift OUR money from corporate welfare subsidies and could demand a 24/7 audit on all spending that likely would cut off much fraud coming from corporate America.

The world of business could operate for less as could at all levels of government as could public education as could higher education.

No longer would consumers be billed for health care insurance. No longer would there be co-payments and deductibles. No longer would anyone go without health care.

Medicare is very good coverage yet would improve as a Single Payer System. Medicare as it is runs quite efficiently whereas for profit coverage does not.

Of course the medical insurance industry does not want to give up over charging medicare and other consumers and most of all they do not want to give up nearly 4 trillion in tax dollars they receive annually as we speak.

Moreover, tax dollars also pay for critical elements of the health care system apart from direct care—Medicare funds much of the expensive equipment hospitals use, for instance, along with all medical residencies.

The Democrats achieved Obamacare, which is providing affordable healthcare to over 20 million Americans.

Of course, Trump and the GOP, who promised to deliver something "better and cheaper," have not done so, and instead are trying to shred Obamacare as much as they can.

Healthcare insurance in America is a disgrace. Compared to many other western, industrialized nations, America's healthcare costs twice as much per person, and doesn't have as good an outcome for America' patients as they see in the other countries.

Healthcare in America is a scam, which benefits the Insurance industry, and Big Pharma.

The only chance to get to single-payer or any improvement on our current system is to remove the corrupt Republicans and the corrupt Trump from office.
