Remember Obama stating he had no idea that Rev Wright was a hater of the US even though he sat in his church....?

I suppose he'd claim he had no idea about Farrakhan idea...

Why did the Black Caucus want that photo back?

What utter stupidity!

There is ZERO evidence that President Obama ever gave special treatment to Farrakhan or the Nation of Islam in any way. Nor is there  any evidence that he was influenced in any way by Rev. Wright.

Obama wasn't influenced by Wright?

Really XO..

Why did he called Wright his "mentor"...?

Wouldn't you need to be influenced by someone to call him a "mentor"...???

Waiting for your reply....

First off, Wright certainly had many other messages that his "God Damn America" sermon. You ignore the fact that this country was built from its beginning in the 1600's until 1865 by the labor of people captured in Africa, brought here in chains and forced to work against their will. You think that God should somehow BLESS this process. If you study history in any detail,  then you also know that Blacks were  promised their freedom if they supported the British. There were few slaves in Canada, slavery began to be abolished in Canada in 1793 and entirely by 1834.

It is a FACT that the British ended slavery with no war or casualties in their part of North America by 1834.

So... who should a just God BLESS or DAMN:  the US, where hundreds  of thousands died to end slavery., or Canada, where it was ended peacefully with so little historic fanfare that White Americans are totally ignorant of this fact.

How could you expect a Black man in this country to say that God should BLESS the US for holding people enslaved for over 200 years?

I suggest that Wright had a perfect right to say what he did, that this sermon, which no one can prove that Barack Obama ever heard, was not the sum total of Wright's admirable virtues, and that in any case, Wright's sermon was entirely a reasonable thing for him to say.

It is YOU, you ignorant dogwhistled racist, that has reason to be educated here.

So you, not I, are the one who has some 'splaining  to do.
