The rich take their money, and promise it'll benefit them. It doesn't. It's taking their money. And that's what 'tax cuts for the rich' does.

 

Republicans just split the things up to con them easier. As someone said this morning, right now for the tax cuts for the rich there's no concern about the deficit, and claims it won't hurt things like Medicare. As soon as it passes, the deficit will scream for cuts to the programs. Reagan's official Bruce Bartlett just pointed this out today.
