Because he should be out of Congress entirely and this is a step in the right direction.

Again, why? You do realize this is a right wing hit job. A Republican offered money for dirt on Conyers. Any coincidence it happens exact time Roy Moore is being debated? Franken and Conyers are two of the more liberal people in the Democratic Party.

And they should both be out of there, along with Moore and Trump.

You can't debate. Got it.

I could but why bother?  No one says I'd die for politics just like no one says I'd die for a lie.  They might but not consciously if given any other option.

And politics is the art of compromise.  Getting much of what you want but not all and giving away what you must to get there.  That will never be more important than morality which came into being long before politics.

Your position isn't even moral relativism, it's Nihilism.  You are one trigger pull away from doing what makes the most sense, for you.

My position is that  morality is not what governs politics, nor should it be.  Politics is not about compromise, politics is about how we live with each other and structure our society. The Nazis, National Socialists, were moralists--especially about sexuality.

That is not politics.  For that one needs - morality.  Religion with no (or almost no) politics can solve that in a heartbeat, if everyone agrees.

What I said is pretty much a standard definition of politics. What exactly are you disputing?

How society is structured. Pretty much standard political science. What are you disputing?
