It is written in English. Stop trying to twist it into what you WANT it to say.

I think the Founders know what it says better than you.

And THEY said gun control was quite acceptable.

You can't seem to address this point.

YOu will now either personally insult me or

try to change the subject because YOU

KNOW my point means you are 100% WRONG.

Who murdered in cold blood.

We have lots of testimony telling how he was aiming the gun

at people earlier.  White trash.

I've address this claim repeatedly with REAL statements from the founders contradicting you.

But you ignore those quotes, and can't provide even ONE that supports your argument.

Why don't you just post ONE statement from ONE Founding Father saying guns should be "controlled" by the government.

The founders are unable to respond.

I have not heard, read, or seen anything to support your position other than the opinions of other communist.

I HAVE read plenty of quotes from the founders that support my position.

Lexington and Concord, have you heard of it? Check it out some time. You may learn something. It was the inspiration for the second amendment.

What I have NOT heard is a response to my question of if you have ever been shooting, do you own a firearm?

He point his rifle ,after they threatened him, before they attacked him. If he had not, he would be dead instead of the attackers. Seems you have trouble grasping even the simplest of concepts.

Automobiles save many times more lives than they take.

Can't say that about guns.

For 2016 specifically, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) data shows 37,461 people were killed in 34,436 motor vehicle crashes, an average of 102 per day.[1]

In 2010, there were an estimated 5,419,000 crashes, 30,296 deadly, killing 32,999, and injuring 2,239,000.[2] About 2,000 children under 16 die every year in traffic collisions.[3] Records indicate that there were 3,613,732 motor vehicle fatalities in the United States from 1899 to 2013.-  ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They also pollute the air, cause respiratory illnesses & and according to liberals, contribute to global warming.

Where?

when they said the right to keepand bear arms shall not be infringed?

They assumed people had common sense and would know

how to interpret those words.  They had not met gun nutters.

They could not imagine people being obsessed by guns.

They could not imagine nuclear arms.

They could not imagine automatic rifles.

you think  guns were a new  invention when the   Constitution  was written?  They had been  around for  hundreds of  years and the  technology was  advancing  rapidly

The Constitution  has stood the  test of  time.    You think they  were  short sighted when they were   very smart about what they wrote.      you  just  refuse to be  participant in reality.

They  understood the  threat of  authoritarian  government,  while  you are supporting  it.    You don't even realize that   you are the  enemy

You provide NOTHING to substantiate any of this.

I, on the other hand, provided the evidence that the

Founders DID IN FACT believe in gun control.

They never meant UNFETTERED access to

arms that are more powerful than anything

they imagined in their wildest dreams.

It is wrong for gun nutters to force terror upon this nation

with this gun culture.  They are VERY SELF CENTERED people.

Only out for #1, which by the way, is as UNCHRISTIAN

as ANY belief ever.

FALSE.  He was just aiming it at people.  It is a form of illegal brandishing.

And I bet you that there are a LOT more ambulance runs to hospitals each day than a mere 102.

I' still waiting for you to tell me I am right.

You're not right.  You're wrong.

More people save lives with guns EVERY DAY in lawful self-defense situations than are killed with guns.

The Founders did NOT believe in gun control.

What did it mean to be well regulated?

One of the biggest challenges in interpreting a centuries-old document is that the meanings of words change or diverge.

"Well-regulated in the 18th century tended to be something like well-organized, well-armed, well-disciplined," says Rakove. "It didn't mean 'regulation' in the sense that we use it now, in that it's not about the regulatory state. There's been nuance there. It means the militia was in an effective shape to fight."

In other words, it didn't mean the state was controlling the militia in a certain way, but rather that the militia was prepared to do its duty.
