You can't seem to address this point. I've address this claim repeatedly with REAL statements from the founders contradicting you. But you ignore those quotes, and can't provide even ONE that supports your argument. Why don't you just post ONE statement from ONE Founding Father saying guns should be "controlled" by the government.

I have not heard, read, or seen anything to support your position other than the opinions of other communist. I HAVE read plenty of quotes from the founders that support my position. Lexington and Concord, have you heard of it? Check it out some time. You may learn something. It was the inspiration for the second amendment. I, on the other hand, provided the evidence that the Founders DID IN FACT believe in gun control. They never meant UNFETTERED access to arms that are more powerful than anything they imagined in their wildest dreams. It is wrong for gun nutters to force terror upon this nation with this gun culture. They are VERY SELF CENTERED people. Only out for #1, which by the way, is as UNCHRISTIAN as ANY belief ever. More people save lives with guns EVERY DAY in lawful self-defense situations than are killed with guns. The Founders did NOT believe in gun control. https://constitutioncenter.org/images/uploads/news/CNN_Aug_11.pdf What did it mean to be well regulated? One of the biggest challenges in interpreting a centuries-old document is that the meanings of words change or diverge. "Well-regulated in the 18th century tended to be something like well-organized, well-armed, well-disciplined," says Rakove. "It didn't mean 'regulation' in the sense that we use it now, in that it's not about the regulatory state. There's been nuance there. It means the militia was in an effective shape to fight." In other words, it didn't mean the state was controlling the militia in a certain way, but rather that the militia was prepared to do its duty.
