The Goodbye Effect - new political thriller

"The Goodbye Effect" is an excellent read. A Nationalist, David Alan Dredford, aka DAD, has recently been elected US President and shortly thereafter discovers a real-life non-lethal weapon system entitled the Active Denial System. The ADS has been in the news before (you can Google it) but not so much - think the author worked for the DoD where the weapon went through human trials. Anyway, the new president decides to use this weapon that emits a powerful invisible heat ray (heats water molecules in your skin, kinda like a microwave) in various ways. Think you can read the first chapter (prologue) free on Amazon wherein the author does a great job describing the technology. Next chapter introduces Dredford ... and the action takes off from there. Would be interested in hearing what others think.
