Don't be fooled. Populism won't help Democrats win again

Recommended Posts

Conventional wisdom among many pundits and Democratic strategists is that to win over more of them, we need to offer a populist agenda – associated with senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren – that rails against the wealthy. This thinking would also relegate the growth-oriented New Democrat-Third Way agenda associated with President Bill Clinton and Tony Blair, which I played an active part in promoting, to the scrapheap of history.

I totally disagree. Al From and the Democratic Centrists were, and are, the problem.

How is Sanders a "big gov sellout?"

off the bat he sides with and believes the solution to everything is government

On top of that he straight sold out to hrc and the elites

I don't think people will forgive that

Same goes for Warren

As opposed to Trump who wants to make money for himself by being president. Is that the populism you prefer?

lol

I want real populist policy

Tariffs are a good start

Neither sanders or Warren call for tariffs

Neither want the fed reserve audited either

Trump is more populist than both of them

I'm not even a fan of Trump

Dude is soft

Don't be fooled. With the Clinton's extinct, the democrats are stronger than they have been in decades. The only way republicans win is to cheat..again.

dems need decent policy

That's it

Game over

But they refuse

Its frustrating to see
