To Stop Trump, Democrats Can Learn From the Tea Party

Recommended Posts

If anything, this model has greater potential now than it did for the Tea Party in 2009. Unlike President Obama, President-elect Trump has no mandate, a slim congressional majority and a slew of brewing scandals. Our incoming president is a weak president, and he can be beat.

Ha!

The GOP mandate, plans to implement far-reaching conservative agenda

gop-1920-1280x720.jpg

Everything from rolling back financial sector regulations to cutting taxes, to repealing and replacing Obamacare has been on the wish list of congressional Republicans,

writes Dave Wiegel. And now that Trump is set to be inaugurated in January, the GOP can finally implement their wide-ranging plan that has been “long in the making.”

With a Republican in the White House and both chambers of Congress securely in the GOP’s hands, the Republicans are claiming a mandate to pass all of the legislation they have been quietly and diligently working on through most of imam Barbie Davis-Soetoro’s tenure.

Quote

When the 115th Congress begins this week, with Republicans firmly in charge of the House and Senate, much of that legislation will form the basis of the most ambitious conservative policy agenda since the 1920s. And rather than a Democratic president standing in the way, a soon-to-be-inaugurated Donald Trump seems ready to sign much of it into law.

The Republicans, say Weigel, plan on using several methods at their disposal since they control Congress and the White House, most notably the budget reconciliation process (requiring only a 51-vote majority rather than a filibuster-proof 60 votes) and the Congressional Review Act (allowing Congress to cast a simple majority vote of disapproval for any regulation).

Welcome Back into the Union!

Problem for you liberals is that you have no TEA Party, and no belief system on which to base one.

The problem with Democrats is that they don't learn from anyone. They have an elitist mentality where they believe they know what's best and it doesn't matter how many times they are proven wrong they will just yell or cry until someone listens to them.

Liberals have no belief system? Why do you believe that?

Hell, the demorrhoids and liberrhoids can't even "come together" to decide who is going to lead them in the wilderness for the next 20-30 years.HOW

in the hell do you think you can come together for some "liberrhoid movement" that will be IDENTICAL to the riots and shit you had back during your 99% Occuturd bullshit.

Hell, you couldn't even come up with what your agenda was and how it would come together. NO ONE was "in charge" or running anything as it was a free for all, shit on cop cars, camp out in tents and sing kum by yah for days.

Can you remember that the "drum line' was over here, and the protest line was over here, and the shit on the cars line was over there. And NO ONE had a fucking CLUE what it was all about EXCEPT it was something about getting out of class and out of the house for a couple of days and playing protest.

Now THAT was some funny shit!!

And you HONESTLY think you can "come together for a cause" THIS time???

Damn what a fucking J O K E that is.

hahahahaaaa. Votes in the house are by majority. Ryan had a problem with Tea Party because they were united and could hold up a majority. If every dem voted the same way it would make no difference in the house. Dems can do nothing in the Senate but use up the debate time that McConnell gives them. Reconciliation is a simple majority vote. If the dems try to filibuster McConnell may drop the "NUCLEAR OPTION" bomb that Reid and the dems have so graciously given them. I look for dems in the Senate to occasionally vote with the GOP as elections in 2018 are right around the corner. I will not be surprised if a dem Senator switches over to the GOP. My prediction is the GOP picks up additional seats in both the House and Senate.

Look for Manchin to switch parties before the end of this year. He could EASILY lose to a Republican in WV should he stay a Dem. IF he goes Republican, he can stay in office until he dies if he wants' He is PROBABLY the only Dem Senator that has an ounce of COMMON SENSE.

Their other Senator is a Republican, and that could create TONS of problems for Manchin.

ALSO expect the Senator from Montana to switch parties as well. Testor would be easy to defeat as a Dem.

What belief does the Democrat Party hold, that they won't sell for the right price?

Not about party. The whole point;

untitled, You avoided the point, why? Golfboy asked about the party's beliefs, not party loyalty.Bet you believed nobody would notice your giant side step?

I disagree. IMHO they simply are not very intelligent, have a lazy streak and are terribly incapable of organization.

HA! No Mandate?

1) Trump won the Presidency when Hillary and the LibTARDS NEVER thought it would happen,

2) Trump won 306 electoral votes, SHATTERED the Blue Wall,

3) won states Republicans had not won in 30 years,

4) Maintained the senate in a year that Democrats had to defend 1/4 the seats that Republicans did, AND

5) SHOCKED the LibTARDS, the Liberal Elites, and the WORLD...

DUMB Liberals might not call that a mandate, but AMERICA does... BUCK it a YOU OWN risk !!
