Due to the alleged hacking, it is good that President Obama is taking this action to assure that the American people are satisfied. It is obvious that Trump, being a friend of Putin, would not address this matter therefore, it is up to the Democratic President to do so as expeditiously as possible.

"The Obama administration later today is expected to announce retaliatory steps against Russia for a cyber assault on Democratic political organizations during the 2016 presidential campaign, according to sources familiar with the matter."

"Federal authorities are also expected to expand on why Washington is confident that Russia was behind the hacks, which some officials believe may have influenced the U.S. presidential election."

"Sources said that groups believed to be involved in the Russian-backed operations will be named."

Punishment has come and it refutes Trump's denial that the Russian government has anything to do with the hacking.

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration struck back at Russia on Thursday for its efforts to influence the 2016 election, ejecting 35 Russian intelligence operatives from the United States and imposing sanctions on Russia’s two leading intelligence services, including four top officers of the military intelligence unit the White House believes ordered the attacks on the Democratic National Committee and other political organizations.

In a sweeping set of announcements, the United States was also expected to release evidence linking the cyberattacks to computer systems used by Russian intelligence. Taken together, the actions would amount to the strongest American response ever taken to a state-sponsored cyberattack aimed at the United States.

Expect trump to try to reverse the sanctions against Putin and his minions as soon as he is sworn in. Although a lot of Republicans and most Democrats suspect and or know that Putin and his government are responsible for the hacking, is there anything they can do if Trump decides to reverse the sanctions? The hacking was and is an attack against this country and should be treated as such by the incoming administration. If it is not, then one can assume Trump favors his business interests over the welfare and safety of this country and the American people.

Unless Obama calls for a new election, Russia will have successfully hacked our election to put their guy in the presidency. Many suggest Putin has a hold over Trump and can demand anything of him he wants. I suspect Trump will hand over the nuclear codes if asked by Putin. There are deals in the works to give Putin at least $500 billion of our hard earned dollars.

Sanctions for a couple of weeks does nothing. This behavior from Obama makes me suspicious of his agenda.

If he does he will have Congress to face! And believe me it won't be a pretty scene. They're ready for him. Read on!

Listen. It's not Obama you have to worry about doing that, it's TRUMP.

The election was a fraud. Russia hacked the election to put their guy in office. I see no reason for Obama to consider the election valid. Obama should not turn over the government of the United States to Russia.

That is simply not believable. The GOP will do anything for a pocketful of cash, and the democrats will cry they have no power and can't do anything without the republicans. Trump has put the head of Exxon in his cabinet in order to facilitate a $500,000,000 deal with Russia. They win 500 million of our tax dollars, but don't worry, they will claim our taxes will go down.
