Sanity in NC, HB2 Upheld

Recommended Posts

Woohoo! Legislators in North Carolina retain their sanity! Perfectly sane, rational, and reasonable law that shouldn't even be necessary, a law that asks people to use the bathroom that matches their birth sex type and disallows burly lumberjack predators from entering little girls' shower rooms, stays on the books. Thank goodness!!

And it looks like Supreme Court members who support this as well will be confirmed during this term!

Yes the liberal socialist communist freakshow nightmare is almost over!! Hopefully Trump gets three or four SC appointments and cements the conservative stranglehold for DECADES!

I'm not a fan of broken promises. They should have repealed it in my opinion.

The city of Charlotte will put their ordinance back in place. HB2 won't be enforced, It can't be enforced on private businesses anyway, all of the court picks on the planet isn't going bring back the business and events that have already left, or getting ready to leave.

$100 million and counting.

State law trumps local. I didn't agree with the Charlotte ordinance. It was a joke. Something that's really not a big issue that liberals still tried to shove down people's throats. State responds with an equally stupid law. The whole thing is pathetic.

But when you agree to something and don't follow through, it's disgraceful. Shame on them.

Exactly, which is why Charlotte can thumb their noses at the state legislature, and dare them to enforce the law, which will be tried in the media anytime they try.

And as I stated, state law can't protect them from the business they are about to lose.

The key word in this thread being the state legislature is going to lose.

As in they are in a no win situation.

Now we wait to see how many private businesses thumb their noses and install unisex toilet facilities anyway.

The state thought it could be slick and backslide through a cooling off period.

They thought wrong.

The only stupid people in this thread are out $100 million. and will be out 10 times that much by the time those idiots finally cave and do the right thing.
